About the role:

Boston Scientific is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team. We are seeking an individual with a continuous improvement mindset and experience in Tableau to assist in automating and enhancing our internal financial reporting. This position will be responsible for building scoreboards, dashboards, and visualizations of total company P&L metrics to drive more efficient and effective reporting. This position will serve as the link between raw data and the presentation of financial outcomes, which are used to drive business decisions by senior leadership and key stakeholders.  Additionally, this position will be responsible for BSC’s total company sales reporting and analysis, including the identification and understanding of key growth drivers, variance to plan, and bridging to external investor expectations. 


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate with various team members and business partners to identify opportunities for enhanced financial reporting and continuous improvement 
  • Leverage Tableau and other available analytical tools to devise solutions to deliver data-driven analytics to enhance business decisions for key stakeholders and senior management
  • Analyze financial data and build polished dynamic reports, dashboards, scorecards, and presentations that skillfully communicate financial outcomes 
  • Enhance presentations with data visualization that can be easily interpreted by key stakeholders
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency in internal financial reporting 
  • Analyze and report  total company sales reporting on an organic, operational, and as reported basis for actual reporting as well as internal forecasting
  • Collaborate across global divisions and regions to analyze business drivers
  • Summarize and communicate findings to Investor Relations, Corporate Accounting, Tax teams as well as senior leadership
  • Build daily sales forecasting projections and facilitate predictive sales analytics; analyze financial trends and enable what-if scenario planning 
  • Perform various adhoc sales analysis for senior leadership 


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, information systems,  or other similar subject area 
  • Possession of excellent data gathering, extraction, manipulation, and reporting skills
  • 3+ years Tableau experience creating financial dashboards, reports, and visualizations
  • 3+ years experience in financial analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail with intense drive to produce high quality products and meet deadlines
  • Must be self-motivated and able to manage though complex and changing environments
  • Must have a process improvement mindset and strong problem-solving skills
  • Must have ability to execute projects and tasks with minimal guidance and supervision
  • Must possess strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
