About the role:
As the Manager II of the Enterprise SAP CoE, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our transformation from SAP ECC ERP system project delivery to Product Team and outcome delivery in our sustaining model of SAP S4/Hana system. The focus will be across all divisions and regions of the Company in our Logistics, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing and Quality work streams. This is a critical and strategic role, reporting to the Director of SAP CoE. Collaborating with the Magellan (S4/Hana Greenfield Implementation) Workstreams, Strategic Integration Vendors, Process Owners, Community of Practices and Stakeholders across the network is a critical success factor for this position.  The Manager II will be responsible for the delivery of current state SAP ECC projects and over the next 3 years moving into an outcome based Agile delivery with responsibilities of several end-to-end Product Teams overseeing Funding, Financial Governance, Team Capabilities Scope, Portfolio Surge activity, Requirements, Design, Build and Testing, Iterative Deployment and Sustaining.
This role will be key instrumental in aligning and transitioning of the Magellan Program the SAP CoE sustaining process ensuring the global functions that need to be involved in this and future releases are proactively informed and involved.
This position will recommend best athlete approach to build and sustain teams leveraging a mix of consulting and third-party experts to deliver on this critical business transformation and core ERP technology advancement.   
Seeking a change leader, influencer, people leader, mentor and champion who is motivated to continuously optimize our delivery methodology leveraging agile and lean design thinking practices. 
Exposure to an approach for scaled agile within an ERP methodology and previous experience of the scaled agile methodology is a distinct advantage
  
Your responsibilities include: 

  • Take full responsibility and accountability for the successful planning and execution of the Agile Product Teams functional SAP teams assigned to you – partnering with the Magellan APMO and Enterprise CoE leadership team
  • Program Budget – Managing a multi-vendor, large scale, global program budget by developing  funding models for project and teams year to year bringing to approval and execution 
  • Managing the scope, budget, timeline and deliverables for the program
  • Oversee and manage SAP ECC ERP project delivery in the Supply Chain Management function
  • Assist in building and sustaining an Agile Product Team to support the delivery of critical business transformation process in SAP ECC and S4/Hana
  • People leadership, coaching and mentorship
  • Managing multiple vendors and complexity across the program in the areas of technology and business transformation
  • Managing the RFP/SOW process working closely with global sourcing and other internal stakeholders 
  • For each vendor engaged, hold them establish accountability and track execution per the defined: Roles/responsibilities definition
  • Tracking/communication/alignment
  • Deliverable Tracking
  • Metrics/scorecards
  • Program Governance ◦Steering Committee agenda and material preparation
  • Decision and action item tracking
  • Ensure all actions, items agreed are closed on time, in full and on budget
  • Schedule Creation and Management
  • Risk Management 
  • Predictable Disruption – ensuring that the program forecasts and minimizes any disruption
  • Overall IT and Stakeholder partnership and communications
  • Team and Scaled Program Metrics 
  • Partnering with Magellan program within the framework of Scaled Agile for ERP execution 
  • Coordination with Magellan Program Leadership Team and Enterprise CoE Leadership ensure that the principles of agile, design thinking, and lean start-up are central to their program leadership methodology

 
What we’re looking for in you: 
Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Science or applicable field required; Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years technical professional or operational experience in medical device field required.
  • 5+ years of Management experience preferably leading teams in SAP ERP Ecosystem
  • Preferably in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Manufacturing and/or Quality functions
  • 3+ years of people leadership and mentoring 
  • Previous experience or exposure to leading teams in delivery within an Agile Delivery model 
  • Previous leadership experience across the network or the Management of large change programs, ideally technology or systems environment.
  • Working knowledge global processes and systems.
  • Experience of managing complex, cross-functional programs and demonstrated capability in collaborating and influencing across such a program
  • Financial and Budget Acumen
  • Previous experience of Agile or Scaled Agile methodology, design thinking, and lean rituals will be an advantage but not essential

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding the tools used to measure, track and deliver in an Agile Methodology would be preferable
  • Courage to make decisions for the best interest of global BSC even if it means reasonable compromise for a local team
  • Keeps the organization's vision and values at the forefront of decision making and action.
  • Demonstrates effective change leadership.
  • Builds strategic partnerships to gain further alignment of program goals and outcomes.

  • Makes decisions regarding work processes or operational plans and schedules in order to achieve program objectives.
  • Proven adaptability, comfortable with change and with a demonstrated ability to react and respond to a fast-changing environment
  • Demonstrated high degree of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to establish credibility
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to execution.
