About the role: 

As an IT Senior Manager of Digital Marketing, you will have the opportunity to be part of a high performing team leveraging leading edge technology and driving digital transformation for foundational marketing capabilities.  You will have the opportunity to lead, define, roadmap, execute and sustain the enterprise Closed Loop Sales & Marketing (CLSM), Customer Data Platform and Digital Marketing initiatives across BSC. The Closed Loop Sales & Marketing team empowers our commercial teams to demonstrate stronger customer centricity, drive sales opportunities, and provide better service and support through an activation-ready, 360-degree view of our customers. 


This role will act as a strategic partner to our Marketing counterparts, building relationships to identify opportunities and offer where to best leverage current or emerging marketing technology stacks, ideating solutions and developing plans to generate efficiencies.  


This role requires a mix of technical skills in digital marketing and marketing automation technology combined with the ability to build strong relationships across a global and diverse stakeholder base. 


Your responsibilities include: 

  • Lead the Marketing digital transformation leveraging foundational commercial technology capabilities of Salesforce Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud with collaboration of Marketing and Sales stakeholders and other senior digital leaders.
  • Champion Omnichannel experience delivery driving Next Best Action and Experience for BSC consumers (patients and physicians)
  • Champion and lead as a change agent on the benefits of CDP, Marketing Automation, and CLSM to a diverse stakeholder base, ensuring value-driving capabilities are adopted
  • Ensure technology solutions delivered are generating value by developing and reporting on key performance indicators providing insight into return on investment of digital marketing solutions 
  • Support and periodically lead consultative engagements with internal, global stakeholders regarding advanced CLSM segmentation, activation, personalization, targeting, and new capabilities
  • Collaborates with the architects, managers and other teams to define interdependencies, management of tech debt and risks related to commercial technology products.
  • Provide regular updates to senior level executives on status and value being derived from Digital Marketing initiatives
  • Evaluating and driving implementation of prototypes, new technology evaluation and introduction, and justification of decisions made to support execution and support of new commercial technologies. 
  • Supports the Commercial Technologies Center of Excellence (CoE) Leaders and other matrixed product teams with change management, communication, risk management and execution
  • Recommends resource requirements required to maintain and enhance the platforms within the portfolio
  • Develop and manage a high performing team of 20+ individuals (including external consultants)


What we're looking for:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or relevant experience
  • Minimum of 10 years career experience with demonstrated ability leading global, cross-functional teams in successful delivery of high visibility, technology driven capabilities
  • Experience working in a lean/agile environment to create and execute roadmaps while managing tech debt
  • Experience managing external vendor relationships and associated contracts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience engaging and influencing across a matrixed, multi-layered global organization with Digital Marketing and Data technologies 
  • Understanding of Salesforce platforms, Marketing products and data technologies
  • Ability to think business processes holistically to construct end user experiences and drive business value
  • Understanding of data privacy preservation techniques
  • Master’s or other advanced degrees
