About the role:
The CPQ/CLM Support COE (Center of Excellence) Product Owner (PO) is a business-oriented individual focused on the development and support of our CPQ (Configure Price Quote) and CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) solutions, which are part of our broader Revenue Management transformation at BSC. 
 This individual will be responsible for driving the delivery of CPQ and CLM support and enhancement needs from the business with a counterpart who is more focused on the overarching Product strategy and continued expansion of CPQ and CLM to other divisions within BSC. 
 The overarching goal is to gain consistent business input for the deployment of enterprise-wide system capabilities that will strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of our commercial pricing and contracting execution.  
This individual will work closely with key stakeholders across all divisional Sales Operations and Pricing/Contracting teams to harmonize business practices and processes related to these key capabilities. 
 

  • Your responsibilities will include:
    • Actively seek input from existing users to better understand customer needs and perceptions. Make effort to ensure customer needs are clearly understood and being met in a prioritized manner, remaining mindful of foundational capabilities and long-term Product vision
    • Support the establishment of business value and priority for requirements, leveraging Value Improvement Projects (VIP’s) and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) concepts (rapid engagement, piloting, iteration)
    • Support gathering of requirements and drafting of user stories through the team’s stakeholder intake process
    • Drive reusability of existing capabilities and process harmonization/transformation for new requests
    • Work with IT Revenue Management team and relevant vendor(s), as required, through all stages of the development process. Help influence vendor(s) Product roadmap to drive improvements/enhancements, as necessary
    • Assist with development of user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts and participate in formal UAT with support from identified business end users
    • Stay current on new features, functionality, and application capabilities of “Quote to Cash” solutions to address business requirements
    • Collaborate with other Product Owners to find synergies and maximize BSC organizational benefits (value) and best practices (leveraging Revenue Management team’s pan-BSC lens & tools)
    • Manage and complete special projects and analytic research based on request(s) from Leadership; create presentations, as necessary, for review with Sr. Management
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Marketing, Economics or similar discipline)
    • Highly motivated, high impact individual with strong technical, analytical and leadership competencies
    • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to make a significant contribution to performance and revenue growth
    • Experience working with Sales/Marketing in a pricing, analytical and contracting capacity
    • 5-7 years of total business experience
    • Exposure to contracting/revenue management systems (e.g., CPQ, CLM, Model N)
    • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and solution-oriented mentality
    • Highly detail-oriented and superior organizational skills
    • Strong project management skills, including effectively managing multiple priorities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to effectively communicate with Sales Executives
    • Experience working successfully within a matrix organization, effectively influencing cross-functionally, across divisions and at various levels of management
    • Boston Scientific, healthcare and/or medical device industry experience preferred
    • In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
  • For those individuals that supervise others, the following statements are applicable:
    • Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
