Role and Reporting Structure 

The Sales Communications Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of internal communications directed to the Urology & Pelvic Health field sales organization, and content maintenance for the sales enablement platform (ShowPad). The role reports into the Sr. Manager, Global Integrated Communications.  


This individual manages the creation and deployment of engaging messages intended to enable the virtual and traditional selling team for commercial success.  The Specialist closely collaborates with partners across the UroPH organization to identify relevant strategies, stories, and channels, including digital, virtual, and live events, and traditional.  


The Specialist will be the lead for ongoing maintenance, recommendations, and audit of UroPH sales enablement content on ShowPad and identifying best practices for housing and distribution of shared resources globally. Additionally, this individual will support the adoption of the new Digital Asset Management (DAM) system and support other organizational initiatives as needed.  


This person is someone who thrives in a team-based environment and has experience collaborating cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders. The Specialist must be a strong writer, detail-oriented, highly organized, comfortable juggling multiple changing priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  


Key Responsibilities 

  • Create and delivers written communications, presentations, videos, talking points, etc.  on-time 
  • Partner with content and digital strategists to identify and implement effective methods for developing compelling and interactive internal communications that support sales strategy, objectives and priorities 
  • Consult with key marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to understand key objectives. strategies and milestones that can be transformed into engaging stories 
  • Amplify, streamline, prioritize and centralize consistent messages for the field sales organization to prevent “oversaturation” 
  • Submits content ideas to corporate communications for division-wide communications 
  • Develop and manage editorial calendar and regular cadence of communications  
  • Provide project management and tactical support to ensure the timely completion of high-quality deliverables. 
  • Coordinate and manage the cross-functional review and approval of content with company executives, divisional marketing, clinical, legal and regulatory leaders when necessary 
  • Execute Field Service Organization communications channels and manage content repositories 
  • Own and identify information flow to field sales organization and determine best ways and processes for engagement 
  • Create or optimize current sales enablement channels to streamline information and drive franchise teams to be more planful.  
  • Evaluate ShowPad metrics to Identify top performing assets/tools to help inform content creation decisions  

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English or equivalent. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication competencies with strong editing and proofreading capabilities 
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of employee engagement communications within a corporate or agency environment or deeply embedded experience within a sales organization or demonstrated ongoing interactions with sales teams. 
  • Solid project management, planning and time-management skills. 
  • Desired Qualifications 
  • Medical Device, Pharma or Healthcare communications preferred 
  • Self-starter who consistently sets ambitious standards and demonstrates a sense of urgency and personal accountability. 
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence and is adept at consensus-building and incorporating differing viewpoints into recommendations. 
  • Adept at working in a team environment while also displaying independence, initiative and  
  • Experience collaborating with a geographically dispersed network of peers and stakeholders
