About the Role
The Project Manager I will be responsible for leading global, cross-functional projects with significant impact to the Corporate Finance organization. Projects may include major Corporate Finance-driven projects, regional expansion and/or acquisition-integration support as it impacts Corporate Finance, and/or process improvement efforts. A significant portion of this role is spent serving as an internal consultant, helping turn unclear, complex business problems into actionable projects. This role will also contribute to overall strategy development and roadmap for the growing Corporate Finance PMO.


Responsibilities & Key Competencies include: 
⦁    Acts as a consultant and trusted partner: Builds strong relationships with internal customers; Understands customer needs and recommends potential solutions and/or approaches; Implements recommended solutions; Continually researches new approaches and/or solutions and develops own skills to meet future customer needs
⦁    Identifies business initiatives: Works with business leaders to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives that support profitable and sustainable growth
⦁    Manages projects: Develops project plans outlining work plans, timelines, roles and resources; Identifies and leads cross-functional project team comprised of project managers, functional experts and local managers; Understands interdependencies and makes tradeoff decisions between projects; Manages team progress to ensure achievement of all milestones and deliverables; Provides updates to senior management and all stakeholders of progress through frequent communications of findings at regular intervals via reports and meetings
⦁    Drives continuous improvement of existing processes and develops new business processes where needed

 

What we’re looking for:
⦁    Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
⦁    Experience leading global cross-functional projects with indirect reports
⦁    Effectively manages competing projects and priorities
⦁    Influences effectively without authority and manages senior-level stakeholders
⦁    Highly collaborative; wins trust and earns respect at all levels of organization globally
⦁    Learns quickly; willing to delve deeply into project details
⦁    Proactively seeks out feedback to continuously improve business processes
⦁    Expertise in at least one of these areas: Kaizen and/or workshop facilitation, change management, process improvement; ideally demonstrated with a relevant certification
⦁    Comfort with ambiguity; skilled at project scoping and problem-solving to meet internal customers’ needs; proven ability to work through roadblocks
⦁    Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated proficiency to effectively distill complex topics to enable prioritization and decision-making
⦁    Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
⦁    A desire and commitment to meaningfully contribute to organizational culture
⦁    Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suites (O365, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
⦁    Travel: Occasional, limited travel, occasionally international, to other BSC sites may be required
