The Global Endoscopy Finance team is looking for a highly motivated Principal Analyst to join our team. The Principal Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Global Endoscopy P&L consolidation and acting as business partner to the Portfolio team, assisting the organization in making strategic business investment decisions. The Principal Analyst will also serve as the main finance partner for the Endoluminal Surgery cross functional franchise leadership teams as well as leading the R&D planning process.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

⦁    Lead Financial modelling for new product development for all franchises. Participate in the Project Investment Board meetings and prepare project teams to understand and speak to the financial metrics of their projects. Understand and apply Product Life Cycle Process principles.
⦁    Lead R&D AOP, forecast and Strat Plan process, working closely with the R&D Senior analyst.
⦁    Support R&D portfolio process in partnership with the divisional strategy team. Run financial analysis for portfolio and bullpen projects on project spend, NPV, incremental revenue, margin, resources required, etc.
⦁    Prepare the Monthly and Quarterly Business Review reporting of Global Endoscopy P&L.
⦁    Support Endoluminal Surgery Franchise leadership teams with monthly/quarterly financial analysis. Provide a recommendation to assist franchise in achieving annual and strategic goals. Understand business drivers. Provide financial update at each Franchise Leadership Team meeting, communicating financials to non-finance functions in a digestible and relatable manner.
⦁    Lead ahoc projects to improve forecast accuracy or support other topics of importance to the division or corporate.
⦁    Drive continuous improvement within our financial processes to gain efficiencies.


Required qualifications:

 

⦁    Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting required.
⦁    5+ years of progressive experience in similar finance role.
⦁    Strong Excel skills required. Familiarity with Hyperion Planning and SAP a plus.
⦁    Very strong financial analysis skills. Attention to detail & data accuracy.
⦁    Strong communication skills.
⦁    Appetite for process improvement.
⦁    Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
