About the role:

Looking to make a difference and collaborate in a Centre of Excellence (CoE) focused on Salesforce Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Marketing Cloud Capabilities?  Boston Scientific is seeking an experienced Salesforce CDP Technical Lead to spearhead Salesforce Customer Data Platform and Marketing Automation platforms. The Salesforce CDP Technical Lead is responsible for the delivery of new CDP and Marketing automation capabilities to our commercial teams. Working closely with product stakeholders, you will prioritize, develop, and implement exciting new solutions on the CDP platform

We are open to have experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud professionals with good Data Architecture and SQL background to also apply to the role, if they are interested to switch and work on the Salesforce Customer Data Platform without prior background on CDP



Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the Product Owner and the technical developers to transform and develop new requirements into designs, development approaches and implementation
  • Analyze business problems and provide technical solutions on the Salesforce CDP platform & Salesforce Marketing Cloud Automations.
  • Design and develop solutions to meet both business and central technology requirements
  • Give estimation efforts, working with technical leads and architects to scope and business to prioritize  
  • Provide support on issues before, during, and after deployment
  • Balance the needs of both individual product teams and the broader Salesforce program
  • Represent “The Team” in a fast-paced Agile environment
  • Support and strengthen technical knowledge base across the BSC Salesforce community
  • Provides feasibility analysis of solutions on the Salesforce CDP platform
  • Implementation and Configuration on the Salesforce CDP platform
  • Development of features and capabilities on the Salesforce CDP platform
  • Follow Coding Standards and Best Practices
  • Excellent Troubleshooting, Analytical and Debugging skills
  • Data Preparation for Unit Testing
  • Unit Test Case preparation, Unit Testing, Bug fixing
  • Implementation and Configuration for Interfaces/Integrations
  • Support User Acceptance Testing and Fix Bugs.
  • Deployment to Different Environments including Production using Best Practices
  • Process and Quality compliance
  • Drives effort estimation or story pointing of business requirements
  • Supports and strengthens technical knowledge base across the Salesforce CDP and Marketing Cloud program



Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 8 to 11 years of Technical / Development Experience.
  • Certifications good to have (not mandatory) - Salesforce ADM 201/211, PD1, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certifications
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technologies for 3 to 5 years at least. Any working experience with Salesforce Customer Data Platform or any other CDP is desirable
  • Experience with Data Architecture and Designing, Data Modelling, Data Analytics & Data Unification processes
  • Very good proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Reasonable Understanding and Experience on Sales & Marketing Cloud capabilities
  • Experience partnering with Sales and Marketing business functions.
  • Strong and effective written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Jira and other Atlassian tools for agile lifecycle management. Additionally, familiar with quality assurance and documentation practices within software development.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced with front-end web development frameworks and hands-on development experience with Lightning Aura and Web components.
  • Platform Certifications (Administrator, Developer, Consultant)
  • Expertise with Agile software development methods and processes
  • Expertise on connecting offline mobile application with Salesforce
