About the role:

Boston Scientific is seeking a Technical Lead to support our Product Information Management technology (SAP Hybris).  This role will be responsible for ensuring technical delivery related to new enterprise-wide technology that interfaces with various solutions, such as our eCommerce solution on SAP Commerce Cloud. The Tech Lead estimates effort on prioritized requirements, identifies and shares recommended solution approach and coordinates execution within the team using agile development methods. Once the solution is established the PIM Tech Lead ensures continued product buildout as well as ensures timely resolution of bugs and issues elevated by the business operations teams. 

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leads discussion on design, development, and deployment of custom features per business requirements
  • Develops and documents detailed technical specifications and data models for storefronts spanning multiple markets, product lines and catalogs 
  • Works with external groups including integration and deployment teams on technical issues; data mapping and solution delivery
  • Supports formal validation with scrum-team and business testers
  • Provides support on issues during Sprint and validation cycles
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert on the functional capabilities of SAP Commerce Cloud Platform 
  • Participates in task planning, coordination, ideation related to eCommerce application management 
  • Helps in backlog grooming sessions along with Product Owner
  • Provides guidance and support to development team and testers on technical solutions
  • Defines enterprise strategy for one-stop shop for product data
  • Performs gap analysis by reviewing current and future technical landscapes 
  • Oversees technical design discussion and implementation services

What we’re looking for: 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Minimum of 3+ years of SAP experience implementing SAP Hybris 6.x and strong knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud
  • Hands-on experience in customizing Hybris based e-Commerce Applications (CronJobs, ImpEx, Catalogs, Categories, Components)
  • Experience with Unit Testing frameworks and general code quality standards
  • Strong knowledge of CCV2 integration architecture with SCPI, SAP Code Extension factory and S/4 HANA 
  • Solid knowledge of web technologies such as Java, J2EE, jQuery, Angular JS, Spring framework
  • Experience in working with version control systems Bitbucket and Atlassian suite
  • Experience partnering with Marketing and Sales business functions
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong and effective written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate with team members
  • Proficient with Jira and other Atlassian tools for agile lifecycle management. Additionally, familiar with quality assurance and documentation practices within software development
  • Proven Agile Scrum delivery experience and knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of eCommerce tools (payment, issue tracking, source code management, build and testing)   
  • Work experience with the eCommerce agile development process, scrum and sprint planning activities
  • Experience designing and implementing global B2B solutions and B2C features on Spartacus
