About the role:
This is a highly visible opportunity to serve as HR Technology Manager I (HRIT) delivering strategic initiatives supporting the HR function. You will own the delivery strategy for our Success Factors/HR portfolio of solutions/services and will lead the team that designs, develops, tests, deploys, maintains, and improves our Cloud-based application platform. Partnering with HR leadership, you will launch solutions, services, and features by establishing roadmaps, planning, and guiding their execution, and creating & tracking success metrics. You’ll work across several globally dispersed teams on some of Boston Scientific’s most complex and critical strategic projects. You will be instrumental in achieving our organization's goals. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support building business cases and ROI analysis for HR technology investments 
  • Optimize HR Applications and services to meet workforce requirements and create opportunities for automation, enhanced integration capabilities, reduction of manual processes, and improvements to accuracy and completeness 
  • Oversee future implementation and application of AI to engage the workforce in personalized interactions, at scale, anytime / anywhere, across channels to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and scale of services provided 
  • Lead the HR applications team to ensure that work is completed in a timely with high-quality, effective solutions. 
  • Partners with HR leaders to proactively identify improvement opportunities through Employee Experience technologies.  
  • Delivers end-to-end support for HR applications by applying best practices in addressing HR business problems and meeting the needs of key HR Stakeholders and other internal partners.  
  • Provides ad hoc integrations as required. Performs other duties as assigned 
  • Manage HR technology programs, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation, and tracking project schedule, priorities, and status clearly to key stakeholders.  
  • Advise and communicate at various levels within the enterprise, including senior leadership, regarding programs/projects/initiatives, emerging issues, and challenges, the state of the industry, and additional opportunities. 
  • Manages and coaches the IT team to develop and grow their analytical, problem-solving, and consulting skills. 
  • Supports the professional development of all team members. 
  • Ensure that the system & related processes meet all applicable compliance requirements 
  • Ensure adherence to BSC Global Systems Methodology, SOX Controls 

 

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field  
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience comparable with demonstrated ability to excel in formal product leadership responsibilities. 
  • 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring a team
  • Experience in Product Teams and Agile SCRUM methodologies 
  • Experience in Developing and Supporting web applications  
  • Must be self-directed, results-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, continually changing environment. 
  • Passionate and innovative with a proven track record of success; an action-oriented, strategic, and creative thinker with a detailed focus on implementation and ongoing execution. 
  • Excellent communication skills including an ability to communicate and work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.  
  • Ability to collaborate with Vice Presidents, Directors, and senior leads across HR Business and enterprise IT organizations. 
  • Ability to be an influential member of a matrixed team composed of both technical and non-technical members. 
  • Demonstrates aptitude for assessing complex issues and developing the appropriate solutions. 
  • Ability to exhibit strong strategic planning and cross-functional partnership, providing tactical direction and driving a large team to achieve performance metrics. 
  • Proven track record of delivering results in large, cross-functional software initiatives. 
  • The ability to think at multiple levels, both strategically and tactically. 
  • Experience in leading projects that span multiple product teams with end-to-end ownership and knowledge of Technical Program Management. 
  • Ability to lead Strategic and Annual Operating Planning across stakeholder teams, creating long-term roadmaps and future technology opportunities 
  • Deep understanding of Success Factors, ServiceNow, Web Technologies & Data integration process 
  • Sound understanding of GDPR 

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working on large-scale projects 
  • Experience working on solutions in a controlled environment 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
