About the Role:

The Market Development team is a U.S. field-based marketing organization committed to developing and/or executing the strategic initiatives of the Urology Division through a variety of activities, including focused engagement of influential physicians.   This position is responsible for executing Prosthetic Urology’s strategic market development objectives.

 

Market Development Managers (MDMs) collaborate with cross-functional teams on upstream and downstream market objectives.  In executing the division’s strategy, a field-based MDM is responsible for engaging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and early career physicians to understand market needs, condition for new technologies, accelerate therapy adoption and nurture the customer journey with specific emphasis on top Academic Medical Centers.  This consistent engagement provides access to the most respected Key Opinion Leaders for Product Development, Education programs and market intelligence gathering.

 

Responsibilities:

Field-based Marketing for Prosthetic Urology

  • Identifies global Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) through various data sources to assess influence (society leadership, publications, etc)
  • Creates influential and diverse customer target set for new technology/product insights
  • Identifies and Recruits KOLs for Voice of Customer discussions led by marketing
  • Support Advisory Summits/Boards as needed
  • Develop and lead KOL Plans aligned with business needs for reimbursement, training, evidence, R&D, basic science
  • Identify and engage emerging therapists in PRU
  • Support marketing teams on new technology commercialization (Upstream and Downstream Activities)
  • Lead Limited Market Release targeting, site recruitment and case support
  • Support/Execute Resident Programs, through partnership with the Sales and Sales Leadership Team
  • Develop and execute customer Market Development programs, including Market Assessment, Market Conditioning and Commercialization
  • Explore and validate potential new call-points
  • Participate on franchise team meetings on an as needed basis

 

What we’re looking for in you:

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Candidate must reside in the US, with the exception of Florida.
  • Experience with strategic KOL relationship management required
  • Ability to engage and interact with customers in a variety of settings including advisory boards, congresses, and in the field required
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in medical device industry with minimally invasive surgery company
  • Sales and/or marketing leadership experience preferred
  • Deep clinical experience in Prosthetic Urology strongly preferred
  • Experience managing cross functional matrixes preferred
  • Project Management skills with strong attention to detail important
  • Up to 50% travel commitment
