Purpose of the role:

Reporting to the Business Strategy & System Development Director, the core objective of this role will be to manage Master Data in such a way to drive its accuracy, reliability and sustainability. The role will involve creating and maintaining a process, governance model and drive continuous improvements to master data across the organization. The role will need partnership with the business, collaborating to identify and promote best practice and implementation execution. The role is also responsible for the management and development of business solutions that drive accuracy, efficiency and automation in business process.


Your Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the development and execution of Master Data strategy for US
  • Work closely with Sales Operations, Salesforce, Customer Service and other cross functional teams to establish and implement governance, standardize process, procedures and manage execution of these in a timely manner.
  • Partner with IS team to drive accuracy and master data sources back to SAP and other source systems wherever possible.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP, Master Data and hierarchical structures. Work on standardization of processes in SAP and continuous improvements to drive data accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with IS team on prioritized technical solutions and improvements understanding implementation plans to resolve and improve.
  • Influence the organization to prioritize and execute tactical clean-ups where necessary
  • Understand and develop reporting tools
  • Strong working knowledge of Master Data, hierarchical structures
  • Provide direction and management over US Data Specialist(s)
  • Coordinate and validate data integrity and propose, manage and implement short term and long terms fixes where necessary.
  • Analyze, synthesize and communicate data and issues into business language, meaningful and insightful messaging and plans. 
  • Strong connectivity, communication and stakeholder management with the business with a two-way understanding of situations and plans.
  • Translate technical situations to business information and cascade understanding through all levels of the organization.
  • Project Management and implementation: Develops project plans outlining work plans, timelines, roles and resources; Identifies and leads cross-functional project team comprised of project managers; functional experts and business leads; Manages team progress to ensure achievement of all milestones and deliverables; Provides updates and recommendations to senior management and all stakeholders of progress through frequent communications of findings at regular intervals via reports and meetings.


What we are looking for in you: 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University Degree
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledgeable in SQL servers
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office
  • Precise, methodical and respectful of procedures
  • Analytical, problem solving & insight generation skills
  • Strong communication skills with employees at all levels including ability to translate distinct terminology differences between and for technical and business teams
  • Strong relationship building skills and interfacing with stakeholders 
  • Ability to work with virtual teams


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean & continuous improvement methodologies
  • Six sigma and business process optimization
  • Informatica solution experience
  • Sales Cloud/Salesforce experience
  • Tableau/Global Sales Reporting experience
