About the role:

Come join our team! Boston Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Broadcast Producer with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of video and audio production to support live events in our state-of-the-art Innovation Center, engaging both employees and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in producing, directing, and managing the technical and creative execution of live broadcasts (Black Magic Design ATEMs, etc.). Additionally, the candidate must be proficient in video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects and have solid skills in Adobe Photoshop for graphic design needs.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Live Event Production: Lead and oversee all technical and creative aspects of live broadcast events, including multi-camera setups, live streaming, video switching, and audio mixing
  • Pre-Production Planning: Collaborate with clients, directors, and technical teams to plan, script, and organize live events, ensuring all creative and technical needs are met
  • Technical Setup: Manage video, lighting, and sound equipment setup for live broadcasts, including troubleshooting any issues that may arise before or during the event
  • Live Event Directing: Coordinate and direct the flow of live events, ensuring seamless transitions between segments, on-screen graphics, and pre-recorded video content
  • PostProduction Editing: Edit live event footage for post-event content distribution using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Enhance video with motion graphics, special effects, and transitions. 
  • Graphic Design: Create and modify event graphics, lower thirds, overlays, and promotional materials using Adobe Photoshop
  • Quality Control: Ensure all live streams, video recordings, and edited content meet high-quality broadcast standards
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and collaborate with camera operators, sound technicians, editors, and other production staff to deliver a polished, professional live event
  • Client Liaison: Communicate with clients to ensure their vision is executed effectively, providing technical insights and creative guidance throughout the production process

 

Required qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in live broadcast production, preferably for large-scale events or productions. Proficiency in Black Magic Design ATEMs, Hyperdecks, Web Presenter, audio mixers, and Apple computers
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of live streaming platforms, audio-visual equipment, and production workflows
  • Editing Software: Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for video editing and motion graphics
  • Graphic Design: Proficient in Adobe Photoshop for creating and editing graphics for live events and videos
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently, especially in high pressure live environments
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly to clients and team members
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality delivery of all aspects of live and post-event production
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively with a diverse team of production professionals

 

Preferred qualifications

  • 4-year degree preferred
  • MUST have 3-5 years of recent Broadcast Producer experience
  • Hands-on experience in producing, directing, and managing the technical and creative execution of live broadcasts
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Black Magic design, other graphic design
  • Excellent communication and collaboration

Maximum Salary: $164500 

 

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
