OnSite Inventory Material Control Clerk
 

About the role:
The OnSite Inventory Material Clerk will manage demo product inventory, cycle counts and troubleshoot production issues. You will interact with marketing, field sales, clinical education, and supply chain departments. This role will focus on purchasing, quality inspection, shipping/receiving, and warehouse operations. You will create and update daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and work as a back- up for other areas of the Logistics Department.

 

You must be able to work Monday-Friday onsite in Marlborough, MA from 8AM-5PM.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support warehouse improvement activities by cycle counting and correcting any mistakes.
  • Assist in the management of the demo inventory.
  • Publish weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as directed by the Logistics Manager.
  • Investigate documentation issues.
  • Pick, pack, and ship BSC product and capital equipment.
  • Participate in LEAN initiatives and other continuous improvement activities and projects.
  • Interact with purchasing, external vendors, quality inspection, warehouse operators in expediting material.
  • Perform a quarterly review of ABC cycle count indicators and update as necessary.
  • Train new employees on cycle counting, inventory reconciliation and inventory management tool.
  • Serve as a back- up for other areas of Logistics.

 

What we're looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting warehouse improvement activities
  • Experience using Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of receiving and recovery processes
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to stand, sit, and/or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds routinely and up to 40 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to work onsite at the Marlborough campus 5 days a week from 8AM-5PM

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous Medical Device experience
