About the role:

The Talent and HR Analytics function at BSC is seeking a client-centric analytics professional. Seated within the Global Talent Management Function, this role will be focused on delivering data-driven insights which enable Boston Scientific leaders to proactively plan their talent needs, evaluate the effectiveness of their workforce attraction, development and engagement initiatives, identify past and future trends and make informed human capital decisions which will drive the ongoing success of the business.

Primarily acting as consultant and organizational researcher, this role will provide clients with analytics expertise across areas such as strategic workforce planning, attracting and retaining talent, diversity & inclusion, employee engagement, high potential talent identification & development, employee development.

As a data-driven organization, this role will have high visibility with HR business partners and leaders.  We are looking for a client-focused, strategic thinker who can be a key partner in forming and evaluating talent strategies.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Deeply understand clients’ analytical needs, acting as voice-of-customer to enterprise solutions and dashboards.
  • Play a key advisory role senior HR and Business leaders by synthesizing human capital data, communicating results clearly and recommending courses of action based on the insights.
  • Conduct custom studies, diving deeper into data as needs arise.
  • Provide labour market assessments to support location strategies and decision making.  Leverage all relevant sources of external and internal data.
  • Provide SME expertise consulting in the design and management of qualitative and quantitative data capture.
  • Ensure that BSC is not just focused on internal data and insights.  Identify and utilize relevant data and benchmarks from external sources which can be used in conjunction with internal data.  Enable BSC to understand the latest human capital trends in the wider environment and to make informed assessments of where potential enhancement opportunities exist.
     

What we’re looking for:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or BS in a HR or data/analytical related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience of delivering value in Analytics roles, ideally at organizations with progressive approaches to the field which have provided exposure to latest HR Analytics practices
  • Business Acumen – ability to understand the context of the data and relate analytical insights to real business challenges and opportunities
  • Communication – aptitude to communicate complex data and insights in a succinct and compelling way to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.  Adept at creating the “story” which weaves together data into a compelling message
  • Influence – able to influence HR and Business leaders using data-driven insights
  • Collaboration – at ease working across a global matrix organization, effective at developing close working partnerships
  • Technology Proficient – Experience of HCM/HR Analytics systems.  BSC uses Success Factors as its HCM so experience in this, and its analytics platform, SAC would be a distinct advantage.  Tableau is a commonly used visualization tool at BSC; experience in this platform would be favoured. Experience using RPA, AI and other emerging technologies in the Analytics space is also an advantage.
  • Previous experience in workforce and talent planning, at the business unit or enterprise level preferred
  • Consulting skills in a customer facing environment
