Purpose

 

Boston Scientific believes that to grow our business, we must grow our people.  With that as context, the Principal, L&D in DE&I (Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion) will be responsible for assisting with client consulting engagements to assigned areas, design and delivery of core curriculum, and specific assignments aligned with divisions, functions or regions. 

 

Key Responsibilities    

   

  • Facilitate live and virtual sessions in location or across locations.
  • Help to foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • Provide active and vocal leadership to the DE&I Team on D&I learning strategy, design and programming.
  • Execute an iterative learning strategy and operational roadmap for DE&I aligned and in partnership with Enterprise Talent Management (ETM), Regional Talent Management, and HRBPs.
  • Forge close and productive partnerships with the DE&I and ETM teams to identify and consult on the design, development, and delivery of training solutions as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Management client facing leads, partners and regional teams to uncover region or business-specific DR&I needs while creating consistency across Regions, Functions and Divisions.
  • Architect, design and lead organization-wide learning that builds DE&I capabilities for leaders, managers, employees, and teams. This includes designing D&I learning content and supporting colleagues in integrating new content into existing programs.
  • Ensures assessment and evaluation mechanisms are in place to measure the impact and effectiveness of learning programs/materials. Shares feedback and recommendations for improvement in support of making a positive impact on performance and meeting business need.

 

Qualifications 

 

  • Bachelor's degree plus 10-14 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • A wide range of experience and expertise in employee development and leadership development 
  • Mid-size project/program management experience
  • Instructional and/or program design experience for adult learners
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, design and then execute development programs using a variety of learning modes
  • Experience within the Diversity and Inclusion training space
