About the role:
The Principal Analyst, Contract Analytics will be a key member of the Commercial Analytics & Strategy Team, within Commercial Services. In this highly visible role, you will collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups—including Commercial Services, Pricing & Contracting, and Sales Operations—to define analytical needs, standardize reporting, and provide insights that support critical business decisions.
This position requires deep analytical expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate complex data in a clear, actionable way to a wide range of audiences. You'll develop strong partnerships with P&C business leaders and cross-functional teams including Revenue Management, IT, and others across the enterprise.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:
● Develop and communicate the data analytics strategy in alignment with business needs and objectives.
● Interact with internal stakeholders to define reporting and data requirements, translating them into actionable reporting solutions.
● Support and champion analytics strategies within the Pricing & Contracting space.
● Collaborate with IT to ensure availability and development of key data sources for internal reporting needs.
● Use data visualization and analysis to highlight business trends and identify actionable insights.
● Partner with business teams to explore opportunities, inform interventions, and propose data-driven solutions that demonstrate measurable value.
● Develop, maintain, and optimize analytical tools and dashboards used across the business.
● Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline reporting systems and processes.
● Assist in shaping the broader data analytics operating plan through cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
● Minimum of 7 years' experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
● Proven expertise in synthesizing complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
● Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
● Experience collaborating across multiple business functions (e.g., Sales Ops, IT, Revenue Management).
● Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Preferred qualifications:
● Advanced degree in analytics, business, data science, or related discipline.
● Experience working with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or Python.
● Background in pricing and contracting or commercial analytics within the healthcare or medical device industry.
● Familiarity with enterprise data systems and cross-functional data architecture.
