About the role: 
Boston Scientific believes that to grow our business, we must grow our people.  With that as context, this role is part of our growing, talented People Services team who provide consultative and advisory support on a wide range of HR topics such as employee & manager coaching, performance management, policy interpretation and other core talent processes to our employees. This role will be responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise, while also engaging, and at times leading, initiatives focused on continuous improvement activities within the People Services team to enhance our support to the business and the HR function.  As a principal level, this role will assume a leadership role in standups & other team communication channels to model our collaborative culture and help build future talent.  This role is a hybrid role with the expectation that you will be in the Marlborough, MA based office 2-3 times a week.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide expert HR guidance/support in the areas of policy and process interpretation, employee relations, employee engagement, process improvement, and other complex work/life situations impacting employee well-being.
• Coach and consult leaders and employees on performance management, development, employee relations and organization effectiveness, helping to determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps.
• Provide guidance and direction to client group(s) to ensure consistent, equal and fair treatment of all employees.  Consult with managers to ensure the consistent application of and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Acts as a trusted partner, providing strong customer experience and representing.  Seeks to find new ways to enhance the employee experience and takes a leadership role in the team to help solution.
• Actively engages with global peers to build connections, knowledge of regional needs, and to enhance our overall team effectiveness.
• Execute a continuous improvement mindset. Identify ways to improve service, processes, policies and procedures by identifying trends through tracking and reporting of metrics, while optimizing service delivery through learning and feedback.
• Build and cultivate a relationship with key stake holders such as HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners and/or broader HR Operations to drive consistencies, process improvements and execute on initiatives to support the business.
• Ensure HR services are delivered in compliance with corporate policies and procedures and applicable laws.
• Provides support and training to junior level HR team members
   

Required qualifications:

• BS/BA Degree
• Minimum of 8 years HR Generalist or equivalent experience
• Experience in a shared service HR generalist environment 
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Bilingual in Spanish/English 

Preferred qualifications: 

• Expertise in HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Experience with ServiceNow
