As the Principal HR Project Manager, Global Total Rewards, you will lead high-impact projects supporting compensation, benefits, and rewards programs while partnering across HR, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-wide solutions and operational excellence.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our Marlborough, Massachusetts, office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage a portfolio of strategic projects supporting Boston Scientific’s global Total Rewards organization, ensuring alignment with business priorities and enterprise objectives.
- Partner with HR, Total Rewards, IT, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, define value drivers, allocate resources, and execute project strategies.
- Lead medium- to high-complexity projects using traditional and agile project management methodologies.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies using tools such as Microsoft Project and related PMO platforms.
- Drive execution by coordinating project activities, tracking milestones, managing dependencies, and proactively addressing risks and issues.
- Lead technology-enabled initiatives in partnership with IT teams and external vendors, including projects involving HR systems and digital process improvements.
- Create clear and engaging visual project plans, dashboards, and executive-level communications that support decision-making and stakeholder alignment.
- Facilitate project governance meetings, status reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement activities to strengthen team performance and delivery outcomes.
- Influence and collaborate across a complex global organization to drive adoption, accountability, and successful change implementation.
- Mentor and support project team members by sharing project management best practices and contributing to PMO operational excellence initiatives.
- Help shape and advance an AI-first project management playbook by identifying opportunities to leverage AI tools, automation, and modern delivery practices within HR project management.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, PMO, transformation, or strategic program delivery.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience leading medium- to high-complexity projects or programs within a global or highly matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with project planning, resource management, risk mitigation, and process improvement methodologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience supporting Human Resources, Total Rewards, compensation, benefits, or employee experience initiatives.
- Experience managing technology-enabled or software implementation projects in partnership with IT teams and external vendors.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Agile, SCRUM, Lean, or related project management experience or certification.
- Learning agility with the ability to adapt to evolving priorities, technologies, and business needs.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships across functions and levels.
- Experience supporting organizational change management initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership through professional, volunteer, or community involvement.
- Experience leveraging AI tools, automation, or modern project delivery practices within project management workflows.
