Principle Marketing Communications Specialist - Endoscopy
We’re looking for a seasoned marketing communications professional. As part of the Digital Marketing & Communications team, the Marketing Communications Specialist is an individual contributor role responsible for leading the development, execution and measurement of integrated communications strategies in support of key Endoscopy product launches. This role is responsible for working with product marketing to translate Marketing strategies into effective communication strategies, plans, messaging and creative. Plans encompass a mix of channels including tradeshows, print advertising, PR, marketing collateral and tools with a focus on clinical and disease state content. Work collaboratively with digital team to support the development of digital campaigns to HCPs and coordinate promotional activities for the sales organization via sales enablement platforms. Communications planning includes keeping internal leadership, marketing and sales informed about campaigns.
This individual collaborates closely with digital peers, Product Marketing, Sales Training, Professional Education, Event Marketing, Corporate Communications, Global Brand and external vendor partners to develop and test messaging/creative.
This individual must have an entrepreneurial, take-charge spirit and proactively engage with Marketing to understand Marketing strategies, Sales and the competitive landscape. This is a role for a leader who is able to think strategically, while also rolling up her/his sleeves to drive the tactical execution of HCP campaigns. In addition, this individual must be a master juggler capable of managing multiple campaigns, multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities. S/he must be able to lead by influencing peers and colleagues.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively lead the development, execution and measurement of communications plans for priority launches
- Partner with Product Marketing, Sales Training and other cross functional stakeholders as part of campaign planning.
- Leverage established templates and tools for planning to ensure consistency across campaign, including messaging frameworks and personas.
- Develop marketing collateral for product launches and other content including animations, videos, webcasts and includes physician/clinical case studies and presentations.
- Manage content from creation through editing through approval in compliance with standard operating procedures related to Regulatory, Clinical and Legal approval of Marketing materials
- Work with larger team to deliver quarterly reports to Marketing on the progress of communications strategies and campaign metrics.
- Hire, direct and manage vendor partners
- Manage all assigned campaign budgets

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing or relevant field
- 8+ years of integrated marketing communications strategy, planning and messaging
- Strong domain knowledge of brand, digital marketing tactics, events and PR is essential
- Experience working within a large global organization where cross functional collaboration is key
- Experience developing and deploying content in a highly regulated environment
- Entrepreneurial spirit balanced with collaborative style and professional maturity
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, programs and changing priorities
- Ability to think strategically, while also project managing the details, deadlines and budgets
- Strong desire to continue to learn, develop and grow one’s career in healthcare communications
- Passion for the healthcare industry
- Ability to lead, influence and negotiate
- Ability to connect the dots to create communication strategies and compelling stories
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or relevant field
- Experience collaborating with a geographically dispersed network of peers and stakeholders
- Experience with medical device, pharmaceutical or healthcare a plus
