About the role:

As part of the Marketing Analytics & Insights team, the Principal Project Manager – Data & Analytics will play a pivotal role in enabling effective project execution, vendor relationship management, and governance across key analytics efforts. This role supports data-driven decision-making and ensures strategic alignment across the organization.
The Principal Project Manager will be responsible for managing high-impact projects that contribute to profitable and sustainable growth. Responsibilities span business analysis, operational planning, process improvement, organizational development, and the launch of new programs.
Work model, sponsorship, relocation:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project management:
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including workstreams, timelines, roles, and resources. Lead cross-functional teams, monitor progress, ensure timely completion of milestones, and deliver updates to senior management and stakeholders. - Strategic recommendations:
Analyze business needs and develop data-driven recommendations. Present findings on business strategy, process improvements, or organizational changes, and support implementation planning and execution. - Project implementation:
Oversee end-to-end project implementation by managing cross-functional teams, aligning resources, and developing clear work plans and timelines. - Value Improvement Program (VIP) leadership:
Lead and support Value Improvement Programs, including training, recognition, system updates, savings tracking, and leadership reporting. Build and manage key performance indicators and continuous improvement mechanisms (e.g., Control Towers, PKP: Problem Solving, Kaizen, Projects). - Vendor relationship management:
Own and manage external vendor relationships to support business goals. Coordinate communication, monitor performance, ensure compliance, and facilitate resolution of any issues to drive successful outcomes.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years' structured project management experience, including at least 3 years as an internal project manager
- Proven ability to lead global/regional cross-functional project deployments
- Experience identifying business opportunities, proposing data-driven solutions, and executing process improvements
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of cost optimization strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel) and project management software (MS Project, Office Timeline, Visio)
- Comprehensive understanding of the analytics landscape, including technologies, data engineering, data visualization, data science, data governance, and related tools
- High attention to detail, data integrity, and multi-tasking capabilities
- Proactive problem-solver with a customer-focused mindset
- Adaptable to evolving business needs and emerging technologies
- Strong passion for continuous learning and operational improvement

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
