The Digital Commerce team is responsible for driving Boston Scientific's worldwide digital strategy, roadmap and enabling world-class user experiences. As the eCommerce Product Manager, you will help define a global vision and strategy that aligns with overall business goals, meets regional/country customer needs, and contributes to meeting key performance indicators. 

 

This position will partner closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Regional & Divisional Business Leaders, IT, and the Core Development Team. The primary focus of this role will be creating, prioritizing, and managing new features and user stories to help us deliver customer value and exceed our desired business outcomes. Success in this position depends upon effectively translating local needs into requirements, problem-solving, weighing tradeoffs, and helping drive worldwide Digital Commerce adoption.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Define business requirements, write user stories, develop innovative solutions and gain buy-in with our global stakeholders
  • Help prioritize new features, architectural improvements, and business unit onboarding while maintaining operational excellence
  • Drive product feature execution by developing detailed plans with cross-functional teams to meet expectations for resources, budget, release timing, and critical metrics.
  • In partnership with business and functional leaders, help lead worldwide eCommerce adoption and digital channel expansion
  • Establish, track, and measure success metrics/KPIs using internal data, VOC, web analytics, and market research
  • Generate customer insights to understand digital buyers' changing needs to understand better how we can make customers' experiences 'friction-free,' guide new feature/solution development and launch, and help enable our commercial teams' success
  • Evangelize and test new business ideas in collaboration with global team members utilizing an agile approach focused on business impact
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and technical stakeholders to ensure the proper governance and strategies are in sync with customer-centric digital experiences
  • Present strategy, roadmaps, and status updates to broad leadership teams
  • Understand the complex workflows between global eCommerce and eProcurement systems and channels and suggest improvement/optimization
  • Manage testing to drive better user experience, increase platform optimization, and launch new features and channels

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or other relevant field
  • Core digital product management competencies, including writing user stories or requirements, and developing product roadmaps
  • Minimum of 5 years of digital product management experience, with preferred experience and knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud (SAP Hybris)
  • Experience managing, leading, measuring, and driving virtual teams toward a common digital transformation goal
  • Experience managing projects using software tools such as JIRA, Aha!, inVision, Adobe XD, LeanIX, Miro, and Agile/Scrum/Sprint methodologies for sprint planning and execution
  • In-depth understanding of eCommerce and payment trends, market dynamics, and digital ecosystems
  • Familiarity with every step of the commerce journey (discovery, consideration, payment, order management, loyalty) and ways to help consumers end to end

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong sense of forward-looking vision, clear judgment in managing risk, and ability to drive deliverables while maintaining flexibility in an agile environment
  • Aptitude to collaborate and influence different teams, including IT, design, business development, marketing, sales, operations, analytics, etc.
  • Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment
  • Ability to synthesize sophisticated topics and distill complex issues into simple solutions
