As the Program Manager, AI Partnerships, you will lead and accelerate MedTech AI initiatives by driving adoption of AI capabilities across enterprise programs, managing complex internal and external partnerships, and enabling organization-wide AI transformation through capability building and change management. This role requires strong program execution discipline, stakeholder influence, and the ability to translate AI opportunity into measurable business and clinical impact within a highly matrixed, regulated environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

● Lead enterprise AI transformation programs by owning strategy, multi-year roadmaps, governance, and execution for large, cross-functional AI initiatives spanning multiple functions and workstreams.

● Drive measurable value realization by defining value cases and KPIs (for example, cycle time reduction, quality improvements, productivity gains, cost avoidance, innovation throughput) and establishing mechanisms to track outcomes from delivery through sustained adoption.

● Establish program operating cadence and governance by supporting executive steering forums, portfolio prioritization, decision logs, and risk and issue management, ensuring clear accountability across R&D, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, IT, Data and AI, Privacy, and Cybersecurity.

● Drive AI change enablement at scale by designing and executing adoption strategies across R&D, clinical, and business workflows, including stakeholder mapping, communications, training, champion networks, feedback loops, and reinforcement plans.

● Support AI capabilities and organizational literacy by leading teams that develop and deliver capability-building programs tailored to key personas such as engineers, scientists, clinicians, and program leaders.

● Enable process improvement with AI by identifying, prioritizing, and operationalizing AI-enabled enhancements to internal processes, including R&D documentation, risk management, verification and validation planning, clinical evidence development, knowledge management, and post-market feedback loops.

● Define scalable delivery playbooks and operating models by creating reusable intake, feasibility, validation, deployment readiness, and monitoring frameworks to ensure consistent AI solution delivery.

● Lead and govern strategic partnerships by developing and managing relationships with AI vendors, consultants, health systems, and healthcare organizations, defining joint roadmaps, success metrics, and governance structures.

● Serve as a senior stakeholder influencer by acting as a primary point of contact across technical, clinical, and business leaders, aligning executives on objectives, tradeoffs, and investment decisions.

● Ensure risk-aware delivery in regulated environments by embedding regulatory, patient safety, privacy, cybersecurity, and Responsible AI considerations into program execution and partnering with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure audit-ready documentation and governance.


Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, healthcare, or a related field.

● Minimum of 7 years' experience in program or project management.

● Minimum of 3 years' experience leading AI, MedTech, healthcare, or data-driven initiatives.

● Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder programs from concept through adoption, including work with external technology partners.

● Strong program execution discipline, including planning, risk management, dependency management, and outcomes tracking.

● Excellent communication and influence skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.

● Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations within MedTech and healthcare AI environments.

Preferred qualifications:

● Advanced degree such as an MBA, MS, or PhD.

● Demonstrated change-management leadership driving adoption of digital or AI capabilities across clinical and business workflows.

● Proven success building trusted partnerships and operating effectively within highly matrixed organizations.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
