About the role:  

The Program Manager for the Enterprise Architecture (EA) organization is responsible for leading and overseeing the management of programs, projects, and releases of capabilities and services offered by the EA team.   

This position strategizes with EA leadership, Enterprise Architects, and extended architect community to monitor schedule and performance of all ongoing efforts while working to ensure the overall success of the Global EA program.   

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Manages and oversees EA Programs that consist of multiple, high-profile, and complex projects and programs in the form of EA Services, that span multiple fiscal years, several business units and carry significant enterprise-wide impact. 
  • Manages and provides leadership to a cohesive team of enterprise architects, external experts, and consultants. 
  • Responsible for Change and Communication needed for the successful adoption of EA practice at BSC including but not limited to the EA website design and development, reporting on KPI’s in collaboration with an EA lead, designing and developing newsletters and more. 
  • With support from leadership, manages competing demands through negotiation and compromise to ensure that the holistic needs of the organization are met.  
  • Drives Enterprise Architecture process and evangelize the architecture community of practice. 
  • Support the Architecture Governance process. 
  • Communicates with leadership on program strategy, direction, and changes. 
  • Manages teams of multiple project managers, project leaders and/or support staff as direct or dotted line reports. 
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the EA office including budgets, leadership presentations, and team meetings (weekly, monthly and adhoc) 
  •  Monitors, measures, and reports on all activities related to EA to Leadership 

 

Required qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 10+ years’ experience in Information Technology project/program manager role working with large teams
  • Global project/program management experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Enterprise Architecture working closely with enterprise architects 
  • Must be proficient with O365 tools such as SharePoint online, Excel online, PowerPoint online, Teams etc.. 
  • Ability to travel up to 10% 
  • Ability to work as a project manager as needed 
  • Ability to articulate and communicate to all levels of teams and leaders 

 

Preferred qualifications:  

  • Medical device industry experience a plus
