Program Manager, Data Enablement (P6)

Locations (Hybrid 3+ days per week onsite):

  • Marlborough, Massachusetts
  • Arden Hills, Minnesota

 

Overview

 

Boston Scientific is seeking a Program Manager to fill a strategic role within the Data Enablement team in the IT Organization. This individual will play a key role in advancing data leverage at Boston Scientific by:

  • Collaborating with senior leadership on data strategy development and execution with a focus on coordinating across key data programs
  • Connecting global business stakeholders across various technology and processes areas in the data space
  • Establishing and driving standards, processes and best practices for data across the organization
  • Building the Data Enablement coordination team, program and offerings for the enterprise

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support implementation of key data initiatives to accelerate strategic business programs
  • Coordinate across business units to and define operating model to increase leverage and maximize reuse of data assets
  • Encourage adoption of standard processes and frameworks for business teams leveraging data and analytics platforms
  • Coordinate across Data Platform teams, Data Product Teams and business teams
  • Creates resources, documentation, and training materials and engage data community through training and communication
  • Coordinate regular executive and organizational communications to highlight value being enabled through the Data Enablement team
  • Solicit input from cross-functional teams to establish best practices and reusable standards for data consumption
  • Manage and communicate project/program status to stakeholders and senior leadership

 

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years program management experience
  • Strong project and program management background, with experience leading large-scale, complex initiatives in a global environment
  • Strong understanding of enterprise platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Informatica, Tableau, SAP, Salesforce.com)
  • Experience with data frameworks, objectives and operating models
  • Strong background in data, analytics and reporting required
  • Willingness to work onsite 3+ days per week at our Marlborough, MA site or our Arden Hills, MN site

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience developing and maintaining strong relationships across IT functions, business functions, and with service/solution providers
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership as well as technical staff
  • Self-driven professional with excellent personal time management skills and presentation skills
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing vendor relationships
  • Proven experience working in a regulated environment with quality systems which includes strong documentation skills

Base Salary Range

Minimum Salary:  $127900 

Maximum Salary: $243000 

 

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

 

Compensation for exempt  roles  may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
