About the role:
The Finance team is looking for a Project Manager/Scrum Master as part of the launch of Global HQ FinOps Process and Reporting team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly created finance team and help shape the future of the US FP&A organization. The new hub will facilitate standardized and streamlined reporting, process alignment, and technology enablement across divisions. This role will also be responsible for project managing deliverables associated with the FP&A Process workstream for the global finance improvement initiative, Finance Forward. This work is focused on redesigning and globally harmonizing financial planning processes to be deployed in the Oracle EPM environment.
The Project Manager/Scrum Master will report to the Global HQ FinOps Associate Director. This position has a high degree of collaboration with the FinOps pillars, as well as interaction with corporate, divisional, and regional finance groups across the organization.

Your responsibilities will include:
Agile Leadership:
- Lead and facilitate FinOps sprint planning, retrospectives and backlog refinement.
- Scrum master for Finance Data Product team, ensuring each scrum ceremony fulfills its intended purpose and aligns with agile principles.
- Coach teams in Agile practices to improve team dynamics and delivery performance.
- Ensure alignment with Agile principles, fostering a collaborative and transparent environment.
- Partner closely with Finance Data Product Owner and Product Manager to ensure requirements and tasks are well defined, with clear acceptance criteria and estimates.
Project Management:
- Plan, manage, and deliver multiple projects focused on finance data, business intelligence, and FP&A process improvement with the Finance Transformation team.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets while ensuring alignment with organizational goals for both Global FinOps and the Finance Transformation team.
- Organize
- Identify, mitigate, and communicate project risks and issues proactively.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with FinOps team as well as Finance, IT stakeholders, cross functional teams and external consulting partners to gather and refine requirements.
- Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to Finance leadership/sponsors and other stakeholders effectively.
- Foster relationships to ensure alignment on project objectives and priorities.
Business Intelligence Support:
- Partner with FinOps leadership, FinOps analysts and Finance teams to ensure timely delivery of business intelligence solutions; coordinate and lead testing and deployment efforts.
- Lead the FinOps Intake Process and partner with FinOps Management to prioritize projects based on business impact, resource availability, and strategic objectives.
Team Collaboration:
- Facilitate collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, including FinOps, Finance and IT.
- Promote knowledge sharing and cross-functional problem-solving.
- Support the professional development of team members through mentoring and coaching.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus at least 4-6 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Project Manager, preferably in finance or data-related projects.
- Strong background in finance or reporting and analytics processes and solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one Agile framework (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and project management methodology (Waterfall, PMI, etc.).
- Proficient in at least one project management and collaboration tool (JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in at least one of these areas: Kaizen and/or workshop facilitation, change management, process improvement.
- A desire and commitment to meaningfully contribute to organizational culture.
- Proven results applying lean process improvement in enterprise-wide and transactional environments.
- Strong financial acumen.
- PMP certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive and influence change without authority.
- Comfort with ambiguity; skilled at project scoping and problem-solving to meet internal customers’ needs; proven ability to work through roadblocks; demonstrated critical thinking skills; analytical and process driven.
- Self-starter and quick learner, willing to delve deeply into project details.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact with all levels within the global organization and with any external partner relationships.
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
