About the role: This role will support the continued development and implementation of the Endoscopy and Urology quality analytics strategy. This role will work with divisional and corporate teams to develop and maintain best practices and guidance for developing and implementing analytics tools and reports that are compliant with all quality system requirements. This role requires the ability to identify and retrieve data from various databases and use this data to perform analytics, statistics, and create visualizations. A good understanding of general data architecture and data governance is key.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Actively work within the network of data professionals across Boston Scientific divisions to bring best practices back to the Endoscopy and Urology quality teams.
- Work with citizen developers to understand non device software validation requirements and execute validation process.
- Prepare and present technical data and recommendations at technical reviews.
- Train and/or provide work direction on related to BI tools to engineers when required as part of data generation, collection, and algorithm development efforts.
- Uses knowledge of Six Sigma, Statistical Analysis and Lean principles to investigate and solve problems and improve quality.
- Leads and guides small scale product performance data projects by defining organizational needs and utilizing new or existing technology and tools to drive projects to completion.
- Interact with a variety of databases and data types, including SQL relational databases, text data and image data.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS) with 2+ years of experience in quality engineering and/or data analytics or a master’s degree (MS) with 1+ years of experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with SQL, relational databases, and Power BI.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and data analysis capabilities.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and business partners.
- Statistical Analysis: Understanding of statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing and regressions.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Quality System Regulations, Medical Device Regulation, and ISO13485 Quality Standards.
