Our Purpose:

Develops, establishes, and maintains quality engineering methodologies, systems, and practices which meet BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements. Serves as a Quality representative to improve awareness, visibility, communication on quality initiatives to support departmental, functional, site, divisional and corporate quality goals and priorities. Provides focused quality engineering support within new product development, operational, or system/services support.
Your Opportunity:
As a co-op at Boston Scientific, you will…
- Lead in the implementation of assurances, design and process controls, and CAPA systems designed to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.
- Act as an effective leader or team member in supporting quality disciplines, decisions, and practices.
- Apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues.
- Assure in the development and execution of streamlined business systems which effectively identify and resolve quality issues.
Your Impact
Examples of meaningful work:
- Support the execution of design changes for commercialized products and documentation of associated design verification activities.
- Evaluate and analyze post market complaint data to identify and escalate signals related to product performance, support complaint investigation efforts, and identify corrective/preventive activities for continuous improvement.
- Update and maintain risk management files.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a BS in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
- Knowledge of data analysis and interpretation tools.
- BS students must be graduating in December 2025 or May 2026.
- Must be able to commit to program dates July 7th, 2025 – December 12th, 2025.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Desire to work in fast paced cross-functional teams to maintain and support quality-engineering methodologies, systems, and practices that meet BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Interest in obtaining a job within the medical device industry upon graduation, preferably an interest in a quality role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $52,000 to $58,240, plus variable compensation governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
