About the role: 

The Senior Analyst, ESG Disclosures will coordinate cross-functionally and globally to ensure the data and processes related to Boston Scientific’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) disclosures are robust and meet the emerging global standards and expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work with Boston Scientific key internal stakeholders, including but not limited to supply chain, HR, legal and investor relations, to streamline and ensure a smooth ESG reporting process 
  • Manage annual ESG disclosure cycle, coordinating across functions and regions, ensuring appropriate review and timely delivery of disclosures
  • Partner with Controllership to help Boston Scientific data owners develop and implement standard operating procedures related to sustainability disclosures that document repeatable processes around data gathering, calculations, estimates and assumptions
  • Strengthen Boston Scientific’s ESG reporting process and governance disclosures, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Manage relationships internally and externally, influence cross-functionally 
  • Create and maintain policies, procedures and training related to ESG governance and reporting
  • Review country and region-specific reporting for consistency with corporate disclosures, involving Legal, Controllership, other expertise, where needed
  • Support functional subject matter experts and data owners with ratings and rankings surveys, questionaries, etc. where needed

 

Required qualifications: 

  • University degree in a related field and 4+ years of experience in data management/analysis, finance, accounting, sustainability, project management, environmental engineering or related experience.
  • Well-developed reporting, oral written and communication skills

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Project Management, Environmental Engineering or related degree
  • Ability to interface successfully and collaboratively with numerous internal stakeholders
  • Project management experience
  • Experience working across a large organization and with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Experience in sustainability reporting and with relevant ESG standards, including GRI, SASB, ISSB, TCFD, CDP, CSRD, CSDDD and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs)
