The Senior Business Analyst, Business Transformation – Commercial plays a key role in enabling commercial transformation across Boston Scientific. This role supports the end-to-end transformation lifecycle, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to design, implement and drive adoption of future-state business processes and technology solutions.

 

The successful candidate will combine strong business analysis and project management capabilities to translate business needs into clear requirements and process insights while managing plans, milestones, risks and dependencies. This individual will navigate ambiguity, align stakeholders, communicate complex information clearly and help drive decisions and transformation initiatives forward.

 

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Represent commercial stakeholders throughout design, build, testing, deployment and adoption, ensuring business needs, priorities, risks and decisions are reflected in program deliverables.
  • Lead requirements gathering, fit/gap analysis, product scoping and future-state process design across commercial processes, including Customer to Cash, Contracting, Pricing, Customer Master, Commercial Operations, Sales Operations and Revenue Management.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, business scenarios, process flows and traceability documentation, validating outputs to ensure alignment with business objectives and functional and technical delivery.
  • Assess process, role, data, integration, control, reporting and operational impacts, communicating findings, risks and recommended actions to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Partner with Commercial, IT, Product Owners, Business Process Leads, subject matter experts, Change Enablement, Quality, Regulatory and implementation partners to support solution design, testing and business readiness.
  • Coordinate end-to-end testing and data readiness activities, including business scenarios, test data, user acceptance testing, defect monitoring, data migration, Customer Master harmonization and business sign-off readiness.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, action and decision logs, stakeholder plans, readiness dashboards and leadership reporting.
  • Lead project routines and cross-functional meeting cadence, driving clear agendas, decisions, follow-up actions, owner accountability and timely escalation of risks and roadblocks.
  • Prepare executive updates, sponsor briefings, steering committee materials and decision-ready communications that clearly convey project health, risks, dependencies and required actions.
  • Support change readiness and continuous improvement by coordinating stakeholder engagement, communications, role mapping, training inputs, go-live readiness and sustainment while identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize and optimize commercial processes and ways of working.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, information systems, finance, engineering, supply chain, data science, operations or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in business analysis, project management, business transformation, program delivery, process improvement, Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Revenue Management or IT/business partnership.
  • Experience supporting enterprise system implementations, technology-enabled process changes or large-scale transformation programs, with working knowledge of ERP, CRM, master data, reporting, integrations and related business process impacts.
  • Demonstrated business analysis capabilities, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, fit/gap analysis, traceability, testing support and change impact assessment.
  • Demonstrated project management and stakeholder leadership capabilities, including integrated planning, milestone and RAID management, meeting governance, leadership reporting, workshop facilitation and the ability to build alignment and drive decisions in a complex, matrixed environment.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Customer to Cash, Contracting, Pricing, Rebates, Customer Master, Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Revenue Management, Capital Equipment or related commercial capabilities.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Salesforce, CPQ/CLM, master data management, reporting and analytics or commercial data platforms.
  • Experience with Agile, Scaled Agile or hybrid delivery models, including sprint or program increment planning, Jira, QTest, PMO routines or project governance tools.
  • Experience supporting data governance, migration, cleansing, master data ownership, business rule definition and sustainable data quality controls.
  • Experience supporting organizational change activities, including stakeholder assessments, communications, role mapping, training, adoption, go-live readiness, hypercare and sustainment.
  • Experience in the medical device, health care, life sciences or another regulated industry, with awareness of quality, regulatory, privacy and business control considerations.
  • Experience supporting global transformation programs, process harmonization, global process templates, business continuity planning or cross-regional deployments.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SharePoint, Teams, Miro, Mural or Monday.com; PMP, Agile, Lean or related certification is a plus.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
