About the role

The Senior Credit and Collections Analyst is responsible for all aspects of credit and collections management for a portfolio of assigned key accounts. Work with cross-functional teams within BSC to assist and facilitate billing concerns, reduce past due exposure, and to ensure continuity with our customers.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Manage assigned credit and collection portfolio to reduce past dues, achieve cash targets, and improve AR quality.
  • Work collaboratively with peers, divisional sales teams, and customer service/sales operations to resolve billing issues and mitigate risk.  
  • Manage daily queue of orders being held for review prior to release for shipment; participate in evening release coverage as required.
  • Approve recommended credit limits by exercising good judgment in balancing revenue potential and payment risk.
  • Gather dispute information from customer document and follow up with the resolution team.
  • Adhere to all financial controls and complete training timely.

 

What we’re looking for:

Minimal qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ related experience in Credit and Collections.
  • Experience with accounting/financial analysis (MS Excel) and systems skills.
  • Experience with large, complex organizations.

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Strong Communication Skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong Negotiation Skills
  • Financial Acumen, credit, and risk analysis
  • Time Management Skills

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Collections experience in the healthcare industry with knowledge of hospital systems.
  • SAP and GetPaid experience.
  • Experience working directly with various billing and receivable portals, i.e.. WAAF, ECAT or Taulia
