About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and solution-oriented Senior Data Analyst to take a leadership role in supporting and evolving analytics solutions, including those in support of inventory positions for consolidations and tax analysis. Solutions leverage Alteryx for data extraction and transformation from SAP HANA and Tableau for dashboarding. Ideal candidates will bring both technical depth and a strong understanding of financial and operational data.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical owner for Alteryx–HANA–Tableau data pipelines and dashboard ecosystem.
  • Design and implement robust Alteryx workflows for scalable, auditable data extraction and transformation.
  • Translate business requirements from Finance, Tax, and Operations into analytics specifications and implement them independently.
  • Monitor upstream SAP S4 changes and adjust solutions accordingly to preserve data integrity.
  • Lead root-cause analyses and implement fixes for data quality or performance issues.
  • Provide inputs and take actions through governance council
  • Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in data governance, design, and testing.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, documentation, and standardization.
  • Liaise with IT and SAP support teams to align infrastructure and ensure smooth deployments.
  • Development and maintain suitable control mechanisms and analyses to ensure accuracy, Support periodic audits
  • Optimize current solutions and reporting, as well as identify new analytic opportunities

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, with deep proficiency in Alteryx and Tableau.
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP HANA and S4 data structures.
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing principles.
  • Familiarity with accounting, finance, or tax data flows and concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Tableau, Alteryx, or SAP.
  • Experience working with Snowflake, Jira, Hyperion
  • Familiarity with automation tools
  • CPA, CIA, or relevant accounting/finance certification.
  • Experience in manufacturing, medical device, or supply chain industries.

Maximum Salary: $164500 

 

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
