About this role:

The Senior Endobariatric Divisional Manager (EDM) will report directly to the AVP, Endobariatrics and will be primarily responsible for leading an Endobariatric (EB) field selling team and building EB commercial strategy. The EB field team will be focused on developing the Endobariatric market in the treatment of obesity and the associated co-morbidities. Additionally, the EDM is integral in the development of commercial strategy for the Endobariatric portfolio, collaborating and influencing cross functionally, delivering revenue results through a matrixed organization, and accelerating professional development of direct reports.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Fostering a culture aligned to BSCE “burning ambition” of transforming healthcare and patient centricity with a dedicated focus on the obesity patient population.
  • Create comprehensive playbooks that outline best practices, processes, and strategies to navigate market complexities and drive growth.
  • Deliver against revenue targets through new MD adoption and accelerated utilization through leveraging of internal resources.
  • Effective collaboration, communication and influence across functions, levels and responsibilities with below teams:
    • GI: DOS 
    • SAE: AVP/RM/TM
    • BES: RM/TM
    • National Accounts, Strategic Systems, Sales Operations, Sales Training organizations
    • HEMA and FRM team
    • Marketing: Product Management and Marketing Development
    • Professional Education
  • MD and key customer stakeholder engagement and influence. In particular, KOL development.
  • Executive and financial selling to administrators and executive.
  • Lead/support the developing new organizational capabilities: program development, DTP optimization, prior authorization efficiency.
  • People Leadership: recruit, develop and lead a team of experienced, strategic, high performing sales people.
  • Performance Leadership: Monitor revenue and expense targets for team on a continual basis. Prepare and monitor quarterly, national, and regional sales forecasts.
  • Demonstrates inclusive leadership by embracing diverse perspectives, facilitating open communication, and creating an environment where all voices are heard and valued.
  • Foster a diverse workplace to drive innovation, enhance employee satisfaction and strengthen overall organizational.
  • Ensure all employees complete required training with documentation.
  • Ensure applicable BSC SOP’s are understood and implemented - i.e. audits.
  • Maintain knowledge of the industry and the competition, continually seeking information from physicians, suppliers, and others to challenge, modify and prioritize national and regional strategies and prepares their team to counter the competition.


What we are looking for in you: 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of successful Market Development and sales and/or people Leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to work in ambiguous environment without a defined playbook and limited direction. This requires the ability to strategize, ideate, build, deliver and integrate new concepts and strategies across the EB organization.
  • A proven leader with a passion for strategy, market development, people development and building high performing teams and culture.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in both developing new sales organizations and building sales infrastructure to drive performance, efficiencies and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Program Development and ability to upskill organizational capability around program development. 
  • Proven ability to recruit, hire and develop talent. Then assemble and align the talent into a high performing culture and team to deliver required results. 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across the commercial model and with cross functional leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results through others.


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Sales Leadership, new Market/Business Development, Program Development.
  • Extensive experience and strong relations with BSC Endoscopy’s critical commercial internal functions and departments (HEMA, Product Marketing, Training, CS&E, Professional Education, DMCxp, etc.).
  • Location: Field based position with access to major airport. This position will require > 50% travel.
