About the role:
The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for delivering key business decision support for IT and Sales Enablement functions. This includes internal and external financial reporting, managing risk, and maintaining a robust control environment.
 
The role provides financial forecasting, guidance and results for IT & Sales Enablement leadership and coordinates those results with all divisions, regions, and functions. 

 

The successful candidate will be involved with creating and reviewing business cases to support the prioritization of investments, driving ROI on digital and sales enablement investments, and identifying opportunities for value improvement. This role is critical in establishing cross functional collaboration and excellent business partnership. It will report to the Corporate Functions Finance VP and be key member of the management team. 
 
 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monthly and quarterly reporting and other key processes, related controls, and budgeting and forecasting activities for OPEX, CAPEX, and Headcount. Ensures the accuracy, reliability and integrity of divisional/corporate/functional reporting or analysis.
  • Focus on collaboration and business partnership to communicate clear goals and guidance to the organizations that allow them to adapt and respond to the ever changing business environment
  • Shares finance best practices across all divisions and within the function.  Continually improves processes and procedures.  Works with others in business partnering activities.  Produces, delivers and communicates actionable business and financial information.  Proactively reviews and makes suggested changes to non-value added activities.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with all Financial Regulatory laws including all components of Section 404 Sarbanes Oxley Act.
  • Analyzes and communicates the impact of special situations, including acquisitions, partnerships and distribution agreements.  Works on the financial integration, the internal controls and the financial reporting to these arrangements
  • Provides data to support the work of the VP, Division/Regional Controller or senior functional management to establish challenging financial goals, plans and objectives that enable growth and profitability.
  • Ensures establishment of and compliance with service metrics or standards.

 
Management requirements:

  • Lead employees in the achievement of organizational goals.  Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable, drive those practices throughout their organization.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements).

 

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business.
  • Six to ten years of progressive financial analysis, planning, and business support experience.
  • Very strong financial analysis skills. Attention to detail
  • Strong financial modeling skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Must be able to work well in a complex, highly-matrixed worldwide organization and be able to simplify that matrix for reporting and analytical purposes.
  • Be proactive, a self-starter, results-oriented, and a team player. Wants to be challenged.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong process and time management skills.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA/Master’s degree, CPA
  • System experience: Hyperion, SAP, Smartview and Successfactors
  • People management experience
