About the role:

Then you may be an excellent candidate for the role of Senior Manager for our dynamic Health Economics and Market Access (HEMA) team, supporting Boston Scientific’s Urology business.
This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our Marlborough, MA office at least three days per week.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Talent management
- You will have 2-5 direct reports, develop key initiatives and prioritize HEMA projects for the Urology division
- Accountable for people development, succession planning and talent review
- Adhere to Boston Scientific philosophy of talent management
- Data analytics
- Responsible for analysis of and reporting from available data assets (e.g., Medicare and commercial claims data, CMS, Definitive, IQVIA, others) in support of business unit objectives.
- Support development and maintenance of health economic and reimbursement resources, including but not limited to coding guides, reimbursement calculators and sales enablement tools.
- Provide appropriate training to cross-functional partners such as clinical, sales, marketing, regulatory, and legal, to increase awareness and understanding of health economics and reimbursement.
- Collaborate with and support global HEMA leaders on strategic initiatives related to health economic research and health policy.
- Payor policy
- Support monitoring and assessment of reimbursement and health policies impacting the business’ commercially marketed products and emerging technologies.
- Highly engaged in supporting annual Medicare rule making processes by developing data insights and communicating to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Address reimbursement, coding and documentation inquiries from divisional sales force and key external stakeholders (e.g., hospitals, clinicians, investigator sites, professional societies).
- Support Field HEMA organizations with data, tools, and insights.
- Preferred CMS work experience or related consultant work experience
- Business development
- Support business development (BD) teams with reimbursement, coding, data insights in a timely fashion.
- Working with outside consultants to develop critical recommendations on guidance and recommendations.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of experience in a healthcare related role
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, modeling, forecasting, and reporting
- 3+ years of experience in Medicare reimbursement systems (outpatient/physician/ASC), including but not limited to annual policy determinations and rules
- Proven analytical skills with working knowledge of IQVIA, Definitive Health Care Data, or Administrative Claims Databases such as Medicare and Private Insurance
- In-depth knowledge of private insurance reimbursement and payment policy trends and coding
- Effective communication skills with both internal and external audiences and dissemination of insights, tools, and research
- Solution oriented and ability to work autonomously with a sense of purpose and agility
- Ability to work collaboratively, as well as advance initiatives independently in a fast-paced, matrix environment
- Proficient computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite), including high level of competency in Excel
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree, PhD, MD, or PharmD
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Certifications in clinical coding
- Significant experience in health economics and outcomes research, public health, biostatistics, epidemiology, nursing, or related discipline
- Scientific peer-reviewed publications
- KOL interactions
- Familiarity with Urology procedures and products

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
