About the role: 

Boston Scientific is embarking on a transformational journey to redefine how we work across the enterprise. The Senior Manager, Business Process will be a highly visible leader driving this change, responsible for designing and sustaining the business across the ecosystem that will shape the company for years to come. 

 

This role is pivotal in building governance, compliance, and continuous improvement frameworks across critical platforms — including Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM), Project & Portfolio Management (PPM), and Workforce Planning. By partnering with Finance, PMO, IT, HR, and divisional leadership, this leader will ensure operational excellence and enable Boston Scientific to deliver innovation at scale.

The Senior Manager, Business Process will be at the forefront of Boston Scientific’s transformation, ensuring that the systems and processes we build today will enable innovation, agility, and excellence for years to come.

Your responsibilities will include: 

 

Strategic Process Leadership 

  • Define and execute enterprise-wide strategies for process governance, standardization, and continuous improvement. 

  • Align business process initiatives with corporate objectives and portfolio priorities, and long-term growth strategies. 

 

Governance & Compliance 

  • Establish and enforce governance frameworks, policies, and procedures across interconnected systems. 

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance process documentation to ensure clarity, adoption, and sustainability. 

 

Operational Excellence 

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization across systems such as EPM, PPM, and Workforce Planning.   

  • Lead initiatives to improve process efficiencyreduce program risk, and enable data-driven decision-making. 

 

Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with Finance, PMOs, IT, and other key stakeholders. 

  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions and support change management to drive adoption and cultural change  

 

Risk Management 

  • Anticipate technical and operational risks; develop proactive mitigation strategies. 

  • Resolve complex issues by applying innovative solutions beyond existing methodologies. 

 

Leadership & Development 

  • Lead cross-functional governance meetings and provide strategic guidance to project and portfolio leaders. 

  • Serve as a thought leader, inspiring teams to new ways of working and continuous improvement.   

  • Adept at identifying program/project risks and opportunities. 

  • Mentor and coach program team members on business process essentials  

 

Required qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field 

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Business Process Management, Operational Excellence, or Enterprise Transformation. 

  • Proven track record in leading enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives across multiple functions. 

  • Ability to travel up to 10% travel to BSC sites 

 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities. 

  • Experience with business process documentationLean and/or Six Sigma methodologieschange management, and enterprise governance; formal training in process improvement 

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Ability to influence and collaborate across functions without direct authority. 

  • Advanced degree

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
