About the role:
Boston Scientific is recruiting for a senior communications manager, adept storyteller and strategic advisor who can make meaningful contributions to our business by helping to foster employee engagement across internal stakeholders and channels among a diverse, global supply chain organization of 18,000 employees. This position reports into the Corporate Communications team and works directly with the senior vice president of Supply Chain, with responsibility for providing strategic communications counsel and execution of communications programming aligned with business objectives.


Your responsibilities include:
•Serve as a consultant and thought partner to supply chain senior leadership team on messaging and communication strategies to engage internal stakeholders, including a diverse, global workforce across 15 key supply chain locations.
•Enable effective new methods for developing compelling and interactive internal communications, aligned with business objectives and employee engagement opportunities, that reach employees at all levels of the  organization.
•Learn, understand and implement the voice of supply chain leadership and the Boston Scientific brand voice to maintain authenticity and style across all communications.
•Evaluate and implement a variety of approaches for cascading and localizing key global messages across the supply chain locations. Advise on and create written communications, polished presentations, videos and succinct talking points for internal audiences, as well as external-facing thought leadership opportunities, including content for the Boston Scientific website and social media platforms.
•Provide project management and organizational support including cross functional coordination and vendor management to ensure deliverables are high quality, on time and within budget.
•Lead global communications strategy and execution for large initiatives and network-wide recognition programs. 
•Coordinate and manage the cross-functional review and approval of content with company executives and other applicable leaders.
•Foster a communications community among supply chain site communicators, sharing best practices and growing consistent, functional capabilities in partnership with site Human Resources leaders.

Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or equivalent.
•Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant internal and external communications, project coordination and content creation within a corporate or agency environment. Healthcare communications experience is preferred.
•Proven ability to work with leadership team and influence with credibility and business acumen on an ongoing basis, leading to smart and successful communications strategies. 
•Strategic bias with “sleeves rolled up” attitude and ability to balance the big picture with attention to detail on all communications. 
•Demonstrated success in working closely with executives, experience with providing counsel to and communicating on behalf of senior leaders.
•Recognized skills for collaborating with global, cross-functional teams at all levels to achieve successful outcomes.
•Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
•Exceptional editing and proofreading capabilities.
•Solutions-oriented professional with a creative flare and willingness to propose new ideas and approaches.
•Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and translate complex ideas into a digestible format.
•Understanding of how to communicate differing “calls to action” amongst varying audiences with distinct viewpoints.
•Excellent project management, organizational, planning and time-management skills. 
•Bright “quick thinker” and self-starter. 
•Adept at working in a team environment while also displaying independence, initiative and enterprise; ability to maintain high productivity while balancing competing priorities.
•Proficient in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and social media tools and channels.
