About the role:
Boston Scientific believes that to grow our business, we must grow our people.  With that as context, the Senior Manager, Organizational Effectiveness  will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of enterprise initiatives related high performing organizations, team dynamics & effectiveness, change management, organizational design, engagement surveys, assessment tools and enterprise culture measurement & initiatives.  They will partner with HRLT, HRBPs, Talent Management colleagues, DE&I, and business clients to determine strategic priorities in these areas and then execute on solutions which meet those needs. BSC is looking for a strong and credible Talent Management Leader who is passionate and driven to build and engrain a culture of development at Boston Scientific. 

Your responsibilities include:         

  • Bring subject matter expertise to the function to shape the scalable global processes, tools and programs around organizational effectiveness, engagement and culture. 
  • Provide thought leadership within assigned areas and with broader Enterprise Talent Management.  
  • Obtain regular feedback and perform needs assessments from stakeholders, consider requests for changes and new products.  
  • Benchmark externally including attend conferences, participate in associations and networks, read and research to obtain new ideas and innovative practices into assigned areas. Share learnings with broader TM and HR teams.  
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and new design needs.  
  • Manage the governance process for assigned area including:  
    • Clear global and local design guidelines  
    • Alignment among applicable stakeholders  
  • Ensure product areas are effective, efficient and of high quality.  Where applicable, self-service and digitization should be utilized.  
  • Lead change management and stakeholder communication for organizational effectiveness initiatives.  
  • Determine applicable metrics and scorecard, review them at least quarterly and communicate to key stakeholders.  
  • Create and own the global processes, tools and programs for Talent Management, HRBP’s, and leaders to use which will assist in their efforts to strengthen the engagement and culture at BSC.
  • Partner with HR Analytics to determine the global performance measurements and metrics for organizational effectiveness.
  • Facilitate the articulation of BSC culture – today and future state 
  • Design, deploy and monitor a scorecard to measure culture 
  • Design strategies and initiatives to maintain/evolve culture to ensure we have a “conscious culture” that is sustainable long term 
  • Connect employee engagement and the employee experience to culture, establishing strategic links relative to communications, action planning, measurement, etc. 
  • Design, educate, train and create support tools and interventions in the areas of:
    • High performance organizations and work systems
    • Team dynamics and effectiveness
    • Change Management
    • Organizational design
  • Evolve our enterprise wide listening strategy to include:
    • Census survey
    • Pulse engagement surveys
    • Employee life cycle surveys
    • SPARK survey
    • 360/180 assessment methodology
    • Ad hoc/customer survey governance and processes
  • Ensure tools and resources are in place for action planning post survey
  • Manage enterprise wide culture and engagement initiatives
  • Ensure measurements are in place for culture and engagement initiatives 
  • Help to foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives. 
  • Role can be hybrid or remote

What we’re looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. 
  • Subject Matter Expert in organizational effectiveness, including team effectiveness, organizational design, survey strategy and culture initiatives 
  • Large scale project/program management experience
  • Advanced assessment/Voice of customer data collection and analysis experience
  • Policy and program design experience
  • Ability to communicate complex HR concepts and products to a diverse and broad audience range (HR, non-HR, different cultures, different levels, etc.)
  • Competency in Global Perspective, Customer Focus, Influence, Execution, Communication, Collaboration


Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred (Master’s Degree in OD, Organizational Phsychology, Learning/Development or similar)
