About the role:
Boston Scientific is seeking a Palantir Platform Architect to design, govern and support a shared enterprise Palantir platform used across multiple projects and product teams.
This Senior, hands-on technical role will shape the architecture and evolution of the Palantir Foundry and AIP platform, with a focus on Ontology, enterprise integration, security, governance, CI/CD, observability and production support. You will establish scalable platform standards and reusable capabilities that enable teams to accelerate delivery while maintaining security, reliability and compliance.

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week Arden Hills, Minnesota or Marlborough, Massachussets. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design and evolve the Palantir Foundry and AIP platform to support enterprise use across multiple teams and projects.
- Define architecture standards and best practices for Ontology, data pipelines, applications, APIs and integrations.
- Build reusable platform patterns, templates, APIs and components that accelerate development and delivery across teams.
- Design scalable integrations with Snowflake, AWS, Azure, databases, APIs, SaaS platforms and internal enterprise systems.
- Establish and maintain platform governance for access controls, security, data protection, auditability and compliance.
- Define CI/CD, release management, testing and deployment standards across platform environments.
- Implement observability capabilities, including logging, metrics, lineage, alerting and operational dashboards.
- Provide hands-on support for production issues, including troubleshooting, performance optimization and root-cause analysis.
- Advise project and product teams on Palantir architecture, engineering best practices and reusable platform capabilities.
- Partner with Cybersecurity, Data Governance, Enterprise Architecture and engineering teams to ensure platform solutions align with enterprise standards and business needs.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience with Palantir Foundry and enterprise-scale implementations
- Proven knowledge of Palantir Ontology, data pipelines, APIs and enterprise integrations
- Advanced and demonstrated proficiency in Python and SQL
- Working knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP), including MCP-based integration patterns, tool connectivity, security and governance
- Demonstrated experience with CI/CD, release management, security, governance, observability and production support
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms and technologies, including Snowflake, AWS, Azure, databases, APIs and SaaS applications
- Experience supporting shared platforms used across multiple projects or product teams
- Ability and willingness to work with some overlap with India timezone
Preferred qualifications:
- Preferred experience with Palantir AIP.
- Familiarity with Apollo, Platform SDK, Ontology SDK and Palantir developer tooling.
- Preferred experience developing reusable enterprise data products, APIs and platform services.
- Preferred experience in health care, life sciences, medical technology or another regulated industry.
