About the role:

 

Boston Scientific is seeking a Senior People Services Partner to provide business expertise and human resources support for the North America region (US, Canada, and Puerto Rico).

 

As a key member of the People Services team within HR Operations, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR initiatives that align with our organizational goals. You will manage service requests and inquiries from internal stakeholders at varying levels, providing core HR generalist services such as consultative guidance on complex performance management, leadership coaching, and HR best practices. Additionally, you will participate in project work and mentor junior staff, offering thought leadership on complex HR matters and ensuring that our HR practices contribute to the success of our employees.

 

This is a hybrid opportunity, requiring 3 days onsite at our Marlborough, MA headquarters.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide HR guidance and support in policy and process interpretation, employee relations, employee engagement, change management, process improvement, competency development, talent management, and employment law compliance.
  • Coach and consult with employees and people managers on performance management, development, morale, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness, identifying root causes and recommending appropriate next steps.
  • Support and communicate the utilization of performance management tools and processes, as well as compensation and rewards programs.
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by executing change processes, policies, and programs to enhance business effectiveness.
  • Establish and cultivate internal relationships with key stakeholders, such as HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and broader HR Operations, to drive consistency and execute initiatives that support the business.
  • Ensure HR services are delivered in compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Provide strategic consulting to influence customer decisions and set direction within your area of expertise.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partnering with them to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions that improve outcomes and processes.
  • Take a holistic approach to identify needs, solve complex problems, and design and implement effective solutions that improve processes across the enterprise.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist with exposure to multiple cross-functional HR functions, including but not limited to employee relations, talent management, total rewards and legal/compliance.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with a forward-thinking approach to HR practices.
  • Strong customer-focused attitude with a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a shared services HR service delivery model.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring or providing guidance to less experienced team members, serving as a senior resource within the HR team.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar enterprise workflow automation platforms, particularly in managing HR service delivery, streamlining processes, and enhancing operational efficiency
