About the role:

The Senior Product Manager, Business Model Innovation will create new and scalable business models to optimize new product launches, contribute to the development of new products, and lead the development and execution of capital service strategies across the Urology capital portfolio.  In addition, this role will be pivotal in managing end-to-end analysis and planning to ensure the successful launch of all initiatives.  This role will require close collaboration with multiple functions and global colleagues, as well as a good understanding of customer needs and processes, to be successful.

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Develops new business models, considering customer needs and product capabilities, that drive profitable revenue streams – i.e., subscription-based revenue models, modular product designs with upgrade capabilities, etc.
  • Supports the development of new product capabilities that differentiate our products from competitors and drive customer value
  • Develops capital service value propositions and strategies to support existing and future product portfolio and business models
  • Be the Voice of the Customer and advocate for their interests.  This includes conducting primary user research to discover insights, market analysis to understand root causes and translating insights into hypotheses that creatively bring the concepts to life
  • Actively scans the environment for new approaches, blending different ideas to come with creative yet effective solutions
  • Driven by the sense of urgency, promotes change and takes smart risks in pursuit of goals
  • Creates innovative downstream marketing solutions and tools to create value and support the needs of the Sales team
  • Develops training tools to support launch of new service and program offerings, as well as training programs that help drive sales excellence
  • Works cross-functionally across business, product, operations, regions and other parts of the organization to develop and execute programs
  • Drives forecasts for service products and new business models and evaluates financial performance to optimize profitability
  • Creates metrics to measure results and evaluates ways to drive enhanced performance
  • Partners with Corporate Service Organization to ensure proper support and execution of service plans

 

Skills needed to be successful:

  • Communicator: Strong verbal, listening and visual presentation skills. Open, articulate and proactive in discussing issues and sharing information.  Ability to frame new, ambiguous and complex issues and distill them into digestible concepts
  • Leadership: Ability to communicate, network and influence effectively across all organizational levels

  • Analytical: Demonstrated analytical ability to understand & report data to drive business decisions

 

What we're looking for in you:

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or relevant Master’s degree welcomed
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing or consulting; medical device or medical software experience strongly preferred
  • Domestic and international travel up to 20%
