About the role

This individual will play a critical and leading role developing and executing global value strategies that address the rapidly changing economic needs of our customers and enable BSC Urology and Pelvic Health to strengthen our market leading position.  This individual will play an important and critical role helping to embed a “Value Mindset” into our culture and business process over time.

 

Your responsibilities will include

  • Managing the economic value development process to ensure that products are supported by unique and persuasive value messaging and tools, both pre and post product launch
  • Strengthening the “economic marketing competency” within the organization
  • Supporting execution of advisory boards with economic customers
  • Creating global product value strategies with region specific deliverables
  • Rapid sharing of best practices across functions and regions
  • Work cross functionally to develop and implement assigned value deliverables
  • Identify a plan to fill gaps in supporting evidence required to substantiate economic value propositions worldwide
  • Explore and develop impactful, customer facing healthcare impact/hospital impact value calculators with HEMA for high priority launches and emerging procedures
  • Explore contract research and other objective means of gathering value proof points (to include white papers/published research with physicians)
  • Review clinical articles and white papers to find value proof points and backup data (cost of care, dx rates, etc.) in partnership with clinical and HEMA and determine how to incorporate into marketing tools and programs
  • Participate in market research development with healthcare solutions team to test value messaging and drive data creation
  • Align with cross functional teams to create Value Briefs for all priority products; ensure that product value is captured across value pillars
  • Collaborate with HEMA to develop value/ROI tools in support of product launches
  • Craft, execute and refine promotional strategies focused on value to support strategic marketing plan
  • Identify channels most appropriate for delivering value story
  • Identify and develop metrics and reporting to evaluate output and program impact
  • Understand competitive strategies and benchmark our progress against competitive efforts

 

What we’re looking for in you

  • Undergraduate degree required, MHA or MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years successful related business/marketing work experience
  • Healthcare provider administration, healthcare consulting or related healthcare marketing experience required
  • Experience managing the economic value development process highly desired
  • Track record of developing a strategic understanding of new/emerging target customer segments and building a marketing plan designed to achieve business objectives with those customers
  • Must possess strong leadership skills, have demonstrated ability to inspire cross functional collaboration and enjoys being a catalyst of change within an organization 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated success leading in a matrix organization
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects
  • 20% Travel (domestic and international)
