Senior Service Product Manager

About the role:

The Senior service product Manager will lead the development and execution of capital service marketing strategies and programs across the Single-Use Imaging Franchise including further defining and evolving our environmental sustainability program. This position will help shape the strategic direction for our franchise that has a growing capital portfolio. This role will require close collaboration with multiple functions and global colleagues, as well as a good understanding of customer needs and processes, to be successful.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

Service Strategy Development and Execution

  • Develops service strategies to support Franchise-wide capital portfolio, including contract definition and pricing
  • Drives revenue forecasts for service products and evaluates financial performance to optimize service pricing and ensure service profitability
  • Creates service metrics to measure divisional service results and evaluates ways to drive enhanced performance
  • Partners with Corporate Service Organization to ensure proper support and execution of divisional service plans
  • Creates innovative downstream marketing solutions and tools to create value and support the needs of the Sales team
  • Contributes to evaluation of product life cycle management as it relates to service obligations and product requirements
  • Trains the sales team on offerings and help drive downstream revenue

Sales Program Development and Support

  • Develops creative, industry-leading sales programs for capital portfolio that provide value to our customers and BSC
  • Evaluates competitive landscape and customer needs to determine if sales programs are optimized for existing / future market dynamics
  • Develops marketing tools needed to successfully launch and promote sales programs
  • Works with cross-functional partners (sales, finance, legal, service, and capital contracts) to ensure successful execution of sales programs

Sales Training and Analytics

  • Develops training tools to support launch of new service and program offerings, as well as training programs that help drive service sales excellence
  • Participates in local, regional, and national training events to support training initiatives
  • Understands SalesForce.com and how to use commercial tools to build product analytics
  • Develops sales reports on capital product lines and analytics to support recommendations

 

We’re looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 3+ years of marketing or sales experience required
  • Drive a franchise strategy around a service and solution platform
  • Ability to lead and influence others in a global capacity without direct reports
  • Motivates team to expand product service and solutions offerings  
  • product marketing, with support of capital equipment products is preferred
  • Medical device experience is preferred
  • Capital equipment service and sales program marketing preferred
  • Experience creating impactful marketing plans, and developing value propositions, positioning and targeting
  • Experience building relationships with key customers and cross-functional partners
  • Analytical capabilities to evaluate data and develop financial models required
  • Domestic and international travel up to 30%
