About the role:

 

Boston Scientific is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive financial technology initiatives, with a focus on Oracle EPM and PPM solutions within corporate Finance. In this role, you will collaborate with finance and business teams to design and implement systems that optimize financial planning, reporting, and analysis processes. The position ensures that financial systems are aligned with organizational objectives and seamlessly integrated with other enterprise platforms.

 

This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite, with the option to work from our Marlborough, MA, Maple Grove/Arden Hills, MN, or Warsaw, Poland office locations.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to understand and document requirements for financial planning, analysis, reporting, and project management.
  • Design and implement solutions that support financial workflows, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain data integrity, while prioritizing scalability, performance, and security.
  • Assist in integrating financial systems with enterprise platforms, such as Oracle EPM, PPM, SAP and other tools, to ensure efficient financial processes.
  • Provide technical guidance during the selection and implementation of financial tools to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Design data models and architectures that facilitate accurate financial data collection, storage, and analysis. Ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, offering clear documentation and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial systems through automation and process optimization.
  • Mentor junior team members to ensure timely and successful project delivery within scope.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5 + years of experience in IT financial systems architecture, design, and implementation, including experience with financial planning, reporting, or project management systems.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Project & Portfolio Management (PPM), preferably in finance-related roles.
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA, automation, data lakes/hubs, Tableau, or similar financial platforms.
  • Knowledgeable in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, software development, and a wide range of other IT technologies.
  • Ability to communicate technical and financial concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on improving financial processes through technology.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in finance, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working in regulated environments with quality systems and strong documentation skills.
