About the Role:


 

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">The Senior Supplier Engineer will design and develop manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to meet manufacturing delivery goals while reducing cost and ensuring product quality.  This position is part of the Sourced Finished Medical Device (SFMD) team and entails driving improvements at BSC Suppliers <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">to achieve production goals (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety). 

 

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Your Responsibilities Include:

 

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Manage projects which include new production equipment, process improvements, and cost reductions while supporting day to day operations success of assigned key SFMD suppliers.
 

  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Works cooperatively with R&D, Process Development, Quality, Production, Regulatory, Equipment Engineering, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure project success.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Successfully contributes to both new product development and current product support, typically including the following activities: process capability studies, process development, Six Sigma and Value Improvement projects, report preparation and process/test documentation.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Ability to independently designs and coordinate engineering tests and experiments including Design of Experiments.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Ability to independently troubleshoot new and existing product/process problems related to design, material, or processes.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Summarizes, analyzes, and draws conclusions from test results.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Prepares standard reports/documents to communicate results to the technical community.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">May lead cross-functional project teams internally as well as with external suppliers
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Trains and/or provides work direction to operators/technicians at BSC Supplier Site.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Submit and manage Change Requests to support manufacturing changes

 

 

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Your Responsibilities Include:​​​​​​​

 

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Required Qualifications:
 

  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">BS Degree in Engineering Required
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">5+ years’ experience in a regulated industry
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Proven organization and execution skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Proven ability to solve technical problems and implement solutions
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Proven leader and team player with the ability to drive tasks and lead projects to completion
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Willing and able to work with engineers and technical staff from a SFMD Supplier at a different site.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Currently due to employee safety no travel is required. However, in the future 25% domestic and international is required.


 
<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Manufacturing experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Medical Device experience preferred
