About the role:
The US Sales Skills & Methodology Trainer leads skill-based sales training for deployment across Boston Scientific. Assess training needs across divisional teams and recommends edits, additions, or changes to the Sales Training Leadership Council.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develops and conducts sales skill training (not responsible for product training) and for company personnel and external customers that support area and company goals.
  • Evaluates training needs of company personnel by evaluating employee's knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) against BSCs sales competency model.  Makes recommendations to Sales Training Leadership Council.
  • Provides sales skills coaching, as part of sales skills program, to support talent development efforts from sales managers.
  • Recommends enhancements to sales training offerings.
  • Cross trains in several sales skills offerings to provide robust portfolio of selections to divisions.
  • Attends professional conferences to build networks of contacts, advance technical knowledge, and ensure professional expertise is maintained.
  • Stays current on best-in-class training and facilitation techniques.
  • Studies sales skills innovations and consistently works to raise the bar across BSC sales professionals.
  • Contribute to and champion DE&I initiatives within Sales Enablement and BSC Sales.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in a Sales Training Specialist, Corporate Sales Trainer or a similar role
  • 3+ year of be sales experience 
  • Experience utilizing multiple Sales Methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN, etc.
  • Willing to travel up to 25%
  • Experience building live training content
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Sales management experience
  • Adult Learning education
