Sr Supply Chain Analyst

 

About the role:

The Senior Global Supply Chain Analyst is part of the Global Delivery Logistics Team. The team supports global, strategic, division, and region focused improvement programs. This matrixed role provides the unique opportunity to work with tactical supply chain teams for a function (i.e. Distribution), division and region, while also being involved in projects that have a corporate wide impact. Involvement in activities and tasks that range from strategic to tactical spectrums requires high performance individuals that can quickly adapt to requirements of the task at hand. This may range from creative out of the box thinking, consulting skills, project management, coordination, and planning, to skillful manipulation and analysis of large amounts of data. The Sr Analyst is also expected be efficient in working with the systems and tools that support the various business functions.

** This role can sit at any BSC locations within the US and Europe.  Additional locations considered: LATAM, AMEA, Canada **

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop business analytics that enable identification, prioritization, and justification of improvement programs that optimize global supply chain performance.
  • Analyze supply chain and operational data, and identify key trends, correlations, and improvement areas (e.g. Order mgmt.; freight, service level, and inventory optimization; cycle time improvement).
  • Build and maintain methodology and tools for ongoing analysis.
  • Ability to align and understand relationship and constraints between analytics, processes, and business requirements. Model impact of to-be scenarios.
  • Develop and report out key performance indicators.
  • Facilitate cross regional meetings
  • Identify improvement opportunities for current systems, accounting, and reporting methods.
  • Maintain and update key information and data in core IT applications.
  • Support and lead projects, develop the approach, communicate plans and tasks to divisional and global participants, manage project to timeline, and successfully achieve project goals.
  • Ability to work under moderate supervision.

 

What we’re looking for in you:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related field
  • 3 – 5 years of Supply Chain or Analyst experience
  • Strong Analytical skills, ability to structure and perform complex data analysis
  • Proactive ability to draw conclusions and recommendations from analysis performed

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP, Hyperion, Tableau, etc.
