About the role:
The Senior Group Manager, Field Education, will lead a team of Professional Education leaders working collaboratively with the Field Selling Organization to leverage professional educational offerings and deliver educational content to Endoscopy Health Care Professionals. This individual will lead a team of Field Education Managers (with assigned geographies) and a Nursing and Infection Prevention Expert (Fellow, National, Global). This team will gain insights from the field on the types and methods of education most needed in their geographies/fields of expertise and will work together with the Professional Education team, sales leadership, and sales representatives to deliver high-quality educational programs and content to meet those needs. Much of the emphasis of this education will be on New Technology Adoption/Market Development (peer-to-peer), Nurse/Tech Education (field-led), Multi-Disciplinary Team Education, and Infection Prevention in the GI Suite/OR (field and expert-led).


This individual will work directly with Professional Education, Directors of Sales, Strategic Systems Managers, local sales teams, MDMs, Product Marketing, Physicians, Nurses, and Fellows to deliver the strategy, vision, and execution of Field-Led Curriculum and Peer-to-Peer education. This position is a key stakeholder in the national strategic plan as it relates to executing key educational objectives and representing this strategy and offerings to key stakeholders and hospital decision-makers.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting, managing, and developing a team of high-performing education professionals.
  • Leading a team to effectively intake and shape FSO Education requests, align them with the business strategy, and manage the budget.
  • Translating insights from the field into recommendations for action or content from the Professional Education team.
  • Strategizing with SSMs, FSO, DOS, MDMs, the Professional Education Development team, and KOLs to create and execute innovative, impactful education programs through various mediums, and aligning faculty based on specific educational needs.
  • Ensuring consistency of education programs, content, and resources across the country, and ensuring stakeholder awareness of programs and learner criteria.
  • Leading FEMs to drive Marquee program execution and evolution in their geographies, ensuring all measures of success are met.
  • Managing the Clinical Resource Group with strong quarterly objectives to maximize their expertise in professional education programs and pan-Endo.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners, including Sales, Sales Training, Product Marketing, Market Development, Medical Affairs, Professional Education, Digital Marketing & Communications, and HEMA, to ensure alignment, support, and clear direction.
  • Building and supporting relationships in key customer meetings where Professional Education is a key topic, with key physicians, and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collecting the voice of the customer (physicians and sales partners) for key educational insights.
  • Understanding and enforcing HCP compliance, regulatory requirements, educational grants, and logistics.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in sciences, business, education, or marketing.
  • Minimum of 7 years of field sales, medical education, and/or marketing experience in medical devices, with experience in Gastroenterology/Endoscopy preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Passionate about education, with strong clinical and business acumen and a talent for developing people.
  • KOL management experience.
