About the role
The healthcare industry is changing rapidly with several market dynamics significantly impacting the patient care continuum. Boston Scientific sees this as an exciting opportunity to ‘Advance Science For Life’ by developing and delivering innovative, insights-based marketing to activate HCPs and patients.
The Sr. Manager, Marketing Analytics Strategy is a key member of the Marketing Analytics and Insights team in Corporate Marketing. This individual will have a deep knowledge of the source and usage of various business data across our businesses that informs marketing decisions. They will leverage this expertise to analyze and address key business questions for Business Units (BUs) and Enterprise Partners, driving data-informed strategies and actionable insights. The role will report to the Director, Marketing Analytics & Insights.
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Analytics Strategy: Develop, Align and Execute our analytics strategy to help support innovation in this space. This includes but is not limited to supporting GenAI , personalization, experimentation, and looking at potential new technologies or applications to support our growth as an analytics team.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Be an expert in our health intelligence (e.g., patient volume, procedure volume, claims data, competitor intelligence, pricing) and Marketing data (Customer, Engagement (digital and non-digital), sales). Must be able to evaluate data, identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions that help inform marketing decisions.
- Data Management and Innovation: Contribute to the future state of business intelligence by improving data ingestion, new data source evaluation, accessibility, and scalability for analytics initiatives.
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Design and implement a repeatable analytics framework to assess opportunities for indication or audience expansion.
- Value Capture: This position must be able to development measurement frameworks or forecasts that we can leveraged to track the value of our Analytics efforts
- Data Storytelling: You must have the ability to pull data, synthesize your findings and present back those findings in a compelling manner (appropriate for your audience). Strong presentation skills are necessary for success in this role.
- Be a subject matter expert: Act as a subject matter expert on our data, our analytical approaches and conveying our utility to our partners. Strong collaboration between our IT, Analytics, and our business partners by translating technical findings and defining technical requirements.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Engineering, or Life Sciences
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance, Consulting, Business Strategy, Marketing Analytics, or Business Intelligence.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience demonstrating strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and quantitative thinking.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working within Snowflake (or similar analytics platforms)
- Must be expert in SQL.
- Must be proficient with Python.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, with a focus on explaining data and strategic implications effectively.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, including data ingestion, storage, and consumption.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on deliverable/analysis quality and accuracy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree
- Experience using Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and SFDC

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
