About the role:
Boston Scientific is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to fill a strategic role within the Data and Analytics team in the IT Organization. This individual will play a key role in supporting data and analytics strategy and enterprise offerings at BSC:

 

  • Collaborate with senior leadership on data and analytics strategy development and execution with key focus on data governance programs
  • Responsible for connecting global business and IT stakeholders across various technology and process areas in the data and analytics space 
  • Champion for data and analytics strategy and establishing and driving standards, processes and best practices for data and analytics across the organization 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on building the ‘Data & Analytics Office’ team and offerings for the enterprise

 

Job responsibilities include:

  • Establish inventory of data strategy and governance workstreams and coordinate as program across Data & Analytics team
  • Encourage adoption of standard processes and frameworks for business teams leveraging data and analytics platforms 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT leadership to align efforts across Data Strategy, Data Governance, and Platform Technology to support roadmaps
  • Coordinate regular executive and organizational communications to highlight value being enabled through the Data and Analytics team
  • Establish and track measurable objectives for the team
  • Solicit input from Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Security, Privacy and other functions to establish best practices and reusable standards for governance model 
  • Manage and communicate project/program status to stakeholders and senior leadership

 

What we're looking for:
Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years program management experience 
  • Strong project and program management background, with experience leading large-scale, complex initiatives in a global environment
  • Experience with data governance frameworks, governance objectives and operating models
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining strong relationships across IT functions, business functions, and with service/solution providers
  • Strong background in data, analytics and reporting required
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership as well as technical staff
  • Self-driven professional with excellent personal time management skills and presentation skills
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing vendor relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in a regulated environment with quality systems which includes strong documentation skills
  • Strong understanding of enterprise platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Informatica, Tableau, SAP, Salesforce.com)
